Emiliano Sala - Cardiff suing Nantes for £100m - court hearing today (P25)

Assuming the outward transaction and return journey from Mackay can be verified and found to be in excess of the flights operating expenses then surely he has to face prosecution for manslaughter in not using a commercially licensed pilot.

All I can say is wow after that initial report regarding the arrangement of the flight regarding the pilots qualifications and the laws that govern carrying passengers. As it explains under certain licenses, pilots with only PPL qualifications are not allowed to unless as it says, under cost sharing rules. If this is the case then this was all done penny pinching, no other excuse really. Football is a multi million pound business for Christ sake.

Then to see that the weather conditions were not really the best to be completed at night under VFR rules, this all seems like a disaster in the making.

Whoever arranged all this will have to take the flak as no way should have that plane even left the ground.

Just read a report that Cardiff are going to declare the transfer null and void and try and say they are not liable for the transfer fee.

Have to say they are not coming out of this very well at all.
The Cardiff argument is they fucked up the registration so it’s null and void, fuck all about the actual contract with Nate’s being to facilitate the transfer of his registration.

That is pretty bloody disgusting from Cardiff. Has it taken them this long to come up with this ill willed thin veneer of a pretense as why not to pay. Absolute nonsense from Cardiff.

Once a bluebird?Warnock crying? Sheep shagging fuckers
A lot of my friends are Cardiff fans and they're disgusted with the owners stance on all of this.
It's not the sheep shaggers who are at fault here, it's the Malaysian owner and board, shame on them

If the contract has not been excecuted correctly then in law it does not exist.
If this is the case then Cardiff will not be insured to cover what will be a multi million pound claim.

Take the emotion out of this , the family’s will looked after i am sure.

If i was a Nantes CEO would tell Cardiff they intend to donate the fee to his parents. Then see what Cardiff have to say about that. 9f they still refuse the aftermath could turn put very bad Indeed for cardiff

Oh fuck off.

They signed a player. He was flying over to play for them. He died.

Yes it’s sad and yes they or their insurer loses out and if it’s not them then it’s Nantes who lost a player they didn’t want to part with and now would lose the transfer fee. Keep the emotion in it, Cardiff are a bunch of cûnts and I hope they go down through the divisions. What they’ve done is beyond a cûnts trick. It’s abhorrent.
