How many trophies will we win?

It's been said before but why isn't the thread title The Quintuple?

If the Charity Shield is good enough for United to count as a major trophy then it's good enough for us.
I’ve said this many times now but everybody counts it in their honours list, across Europe. And Pep has already said we’ve won two titles already this season.

Should be called the “Grand Slam”, even the “Domestic Grand Slam”

Screwed up the Checkatrade Trophy already. Pep out.

Watching the coverage yesterday, it was noticeable how a number of interviewers stated how City fans were getting excited about the prospect of the quadruple.

Really? I don't know anyone getting excited about it, most of the fans I know think it's a bloody trap set by the media, so that whatever happens, unless we do it, we'll have fallen short.

Admittedly I only mix with miserable bastards.

Same. I don't know anyone who actually thinks we can do it. I don't think we'll do it, not at all.

If we did ever get to do this (And it's a huge if) :then it should be renamed The Guard-ruple. OK, I'll get mi coat :-/

Said it before the first thing they will say is "have to do it back to back to be considered a great team".

If we do the Domestic treble, we'll have equalled the trophies of Chelsea 05-07 team as well as breaking some of the records set by them. That Chelsea side is always in the discussions of Premier League's best, and so will this City side be.

I think we would rather have the problem than not have it. Despite media frenzy from as far back in January we know we could be in this position 10 times and do it just the once. End of the month could be a damp squib or the most electric time in our lifetime.

They're going for their own quadruple, having already won the league 3 times this season.
Don't forget the 'net spend' trophy, the 'we would have sold out Wembley by now if we hadn't deliberately been knocked out' trophy and the 'we have the best fist pumping manager after a home win' trophy that they already have in their trophy cabinet

just sit back and enjoy, what 13/14 games in all comps (ive not counted) win them all and that's it we clear up,if we don't then we don't but when was the last time a team was in this position to do it

Personally, I take a game at a time, happy with this season already, and hoping we don’t fall foul of Uefa or FA sanctions for contrived penalties designed against us, but I will he devastated if we don’t get another trophy, and slightly disappointed if we don’t get 3, but confident that whatever, we will be right up there next season.

Whatever happens this season, Pep deserves huge praise for keeping a team in all 4 competitions right until the end. We could come up short in our 3 remaining competitions and still be regarded as the best team in the country.

I read on here somewhere that Chelsea were the last team, to get this far, I would be more than happy if we got a little bit further along than they achieved. And ecstatic if we actually pulled off , the impossible.

Should we be adding the FA Youth Cup Final to the list?

What is happening at my football club? It never used to be like this.
