Away tickets

You might want to try to find another smoking gun because many Branches were allocated the £65 seats and didn't have any say in the matter. There was no choice to select the £30 seats like everyone else but we take the pros and cons of Supporters Club membership. I have seen the email and it is from a ticket agency that has unsold tickets.
Do the SC members have to compulsory use and pay for these tickets or can they buy a £30 one of their own accord? Genuine qestion btw.

I can only speak for my own branch Roachy; If we have enough points we buy our own tickets so yes we can buy of our own accord but if we get tickets through the club then we have to use those. So if their tickets are on L5 then up to L5 they go. :-)

Spurs still not been sent, the club have been very bad organising them being posted out this season. They must have realised 2 London games in 4 days, or 3 in 8 means some fans will be staying over.

Sending our late adds to the selling on as it means there is no chance of them being returned at least a week before.
Ive got our Palace tickets but not Spurs

Thanks for the reply. I'm a lone ranger myself without mega points so I've followed this thread with interest. Apologies for being a nosey sod but how are tickets allocated to members if demand is greater than supply. Completely understand if you don't want to answer.

We had no choice in the matter mate. we only find out the price category after committing to buying the tickets. Like I said, swings and roundabouts.

The bigger impact is that usually a few other Blues, who have bought their tickets independently, help to fill up the coach but there aren’t as many going this time around.

A couple of years ago I posted that the Supporters Club members with enough points bought their own tickets (or the SC buys them on their behalf) and the allocation they get is passed on to people who don't have the points for that game.
This set off many arguments and people posting on here saying that doesn't happen and i was a liar and yet have agreed it does through the thread.

Which brings us to the 20% allocation the SC gets must therefore go to people who do not have enough points.

And there, ladies and gentlemen, is why if you are on the cusp of the big games and miss out, it's because they have your tickets.

20% remember, 20% is given to the SC who can pass them on to those without the points.
For Spurs next Tuesday that would be 600 extra tickets to people with the points needed. That means it would probably ha e gone down to about 16000 points or below.

Cue abuse and backtracking from SC afficendos who will now PM one another to give me abuse, again.

I've seen a copy of an e mail today sent to Kevin Parker asking for it to be passed on to SCs.
It says there has been a Block Booking Cancellation and tickets are available in 4 categories at half price for Semi Final.
This has allegedly come from the source that City use to sell tickets to Agencies and the like.
So far it doesn't appear to have gone out to SCs because how could they now offer half price tickets.
But it could be that this person has taken tickets hoping to sell them to Agencies and like City over estimated the demand .
I am not in any way suggesting Kevin Parker is involved in anything dodgy and I do not have a copy of the e mail and the persons identity.
This is for your information and maybe you could ask the question at you next meeting with the Club.
If I get any more I will let you know.
Cheers

It stinks to high heaven

Appreciate its late in the day and this may be the best way to shift tickets but surely everyone can now see this "you scratch my back" routine between the club and SC

Spot on. Well said, as always

See if there is over 7 days before the game and there are tickets returned to the club by supporters or supporters clubs do these then get put back on sale to fans with the required points or are they just left unsold?

They got offered to the SC exclusively

Plenty of evidence of that in this thread to be fair

Supporters Clubs aren’t allowed to return tickets to the Club. You buy your ticket and use it.

There was unequivocal evidence of touting on this forum (last week) by a ticket agency regarding Champs League tickets.

Can you please remind me of the posts you issued condemning these practices.

Branches have different systems in place , could be a ballot system,or based on the amount of away games a person been to. should think plenty of other ways as well

Ok then, so if any supporters return tickets to the club do they get put back on sale or are they just left unsold?

I don’t know mate. I assume the tickets returned by individual supporters go back on sale (but I’m not sure how that fits in with the sales criteria).

Tickets being returned by Sponsors atthe last minute were sometimes made available to Supporter Club Branches through the OSC. That didn’t happen for Fulham so I’m not sure if that practice has ended or not.

Cool, the reason I'm asking is Palace away was supposed to have went on sale at 9am to Citizen Match day members yesterday but they never came on sale online at all and there are one or two tweets complaining to supporters services about this, I was constantly hitting refresh in the hope that the tab would change from "restricted sale" to buy tickets but it never did then at 09:22 a tweet went out saying it was sold out again with complaints to the SS twitter feed. So I'm wondering if any returned tickets would go back on sale to Cityzens MD members?
