CL QF Draw - City V Spurs ===== SF V Ajax (If we get there)

Cheers mate, thanks for that. The transport sounds a bit grim. We’re staying over near Wembley so if we have to walk how long do you think it might take?
Walking to Wembley??? Just looked and it's 12 miles away, so uhm good luck with that. If you're staying over then just don't rush it. Can probably expect to queue for up to an hour or so at WHL station, or you can just grab a beer if somewhere will serve you (stadium bars still open post-match in the home end, don't know if the away end's the same, if not the Irish Centre is normally away friendly) and wait for it to die down.

Google maps says about 4 hours and 20 mins, you mad bastard.

Thanks for that mate I’ll have a look at the Irish Bar, certainly a better option than queuing for an hour.

The the Irish Centre is ok but if I were you I would walk half way to Seven Sisters and go in the Beehive which is much nicer with better beer and also away friendly. Have a pint or two and then walk the last 10 mins to the station.

Thanks mate, I’m hoping to get the 11pm train back, how long does it take to get the tube back to Euston from Tottenham Hale?

Only way to make sure is leave a couple of minutes before the end and leg it to Seven Sister,s tube station.

That’s great, thanks very much. ;)

Spurs fan here. Really looking forward to the game, none of us are very optimistic but with a home crowd behind us you never know I guess!

Just thought I'd say that I know some of you are looking at getting the 11pm last train back from Euston. Going by last night, that might not actually be possible. The transport's barely been improved and is really struggling to handle the new capacity - some of our fans weren't even on the tube at Seven Sisters by 11 having left at full time. Your best bet seems to be to take the 30 minute walk or so to Tottenham Hale where there were much smaller queues and get the Victoria Line from there instead, you should just make it if you do that but no guarentees so have some kind of backup in mind. Whatever you do don't try to go to the stations near the ground (White Hart Lane, Bruce Grove, or Northumberland Park) or you have no chance of making your train.
Can you recommend anywhere to park mate ?
Don’t mind walking with ing reason
Cheers

Just had the Supporter Services email with the information in. It says City have been told there is likely to be a hold back after the game.

I'm not sure whether they change that section for each game, or whether they leave it in as an assumption. I think they've said that for games in Germany where we haven't been held back.

If you have a train to catch, it might be worth checking in advance.

Yep that’s our plan unfortunately. Hate leaving early but don’t think I’ve got a choice!

Only takes a few minutes from there to Euston but there can be massive queues at Seven Sisters if you don't get a couple of minutes head start!

About 15 minutes or so once your on the tube. Main risk is that people who were stuck queueing for ages at Seven Sisters last night walk to Tottenham Hale now and you have to queue there, but you can afford probably up to a 15 minute wait if you leave at full-time.

Other thing is that I don't know if you'll potentially get held back at the end like you often do at actual European aways? As that'd make it pretty much impossible.
Last year at Anfield they let us out straight away, most of us wanted to get away from there as quick as possible as it was

It would be madness to risk being stranded in London overnight to catch the last few minutes of a first leg.
Yeh but City brings out the madness in us. I brought my wife home from Spain a day early last year so I could get to the match, on her birthday
