Once i knew the Rags were out (after 1o minutes :) i switched over to the Juventus game , Ajax were impressive and should have scored four or five they battered Juventus in the 2nd half . The Old Lady are looking like an ageing team and in hindsight i would have preferred to face them just to see the look on Ronald's face when we dumped them out , but Ajax's young team show no fear , if we stuff Spuds ,the Ajax games will be brilliant games of football.

I find myself disagreeing with this chap Wio Ferdinand on a regular basis. In fact I generally tend to think the exact opposite of what he seems to state as fact.

Last week he assured us all that Man Yernited would in fact get a result at Barca after losing at home and failing to have one shot on target. “Fear not” he stated “For this is Man Yernited”.

He the proceeded to declare “Totternam are in the Drivin seet nar. I see them goin Fruw.”

Immediately I saw he was talking out of his arse and made a solemn oath to myself I would allow myself financial gain from his unerring fuckwittery by placing a bet on City to do to Spurs what Barca did to his beloved Raggies.

£20 placed at 15/2 for a 3-0 win. It’s a licence to print money. Cheers Rodney, I mean Wio. What a plonker!

If Ajax were in the other half of the draw they'd be a dream final opponent. But I can't shake a horrible thought of losing the semi to Ajax, which would be gutting enough and then having the potential silver lining taken away when they lose the final to the thieving victims.
