To be fair to him when he looked at the screen he shrugged his shoulders as if to say he can't be sure, if that's the case then the goal stands.
It does seem like we have been on the shit end of every VAR decision so far though.
 
I really don't understand VAR. Anyone watching from home could see that from the angle behind the goal, you could clearly see that it touched Llorente's arm before hitting his knee but the ref was only viewing it from one angle.... Oh well. Shit happens.
 
Can someone tell me please what the fuck happened after Raz's 'goal'. Me and my 8 year old were fuckin celebrating jumping around the room. My stream cut out. Clicked on Bluemoon and it was all over. Got 3 min of a blackspot where I was on the buzzing and then crashing. Not felt like that since that dodgy Mitsubishi pill I had in '03

On the down side Laporte was at fault for the first two goals, Dave Silva did nowt again, and Gundogan couldn't hit a barn door from two yards.
That crazy team selection in the first game cost us dear. Why didn't we just go for it like tonight.
The main tactic in CL matches is get an away goal, what part of that doesn't Pep understand.
We have to pick ourselves up now and do it all again on Saturday. I don't think my heart can take it.

Pep couldnt improve this since the Monaco two after two years. These teams at this level punish you if you commit same mistakes and we dont learn.

Pep said 1-0 loss away is maybe better than 0-0 as you exactly know what to do in second game. Well that first game with that fucked up line up and quite pragmatic approach resulted that even a 4-3 win is useless for us.

Pep cost us in the first round. Unfortunately for Laporte, who’s been brilliant all season for us, cost us dearly tonight with some terrible defensive errors. You simply cannot give three goals away at home in any competition. Got what we deserved. Now let’s put it right in the league.

Yes, a bit to be honest. But do you really expect fans to not celebrate?

You are clearly a better team than us and were better on the night. We were ridiculously fortunate to scrape past you. As long as we end up with top 4 I genuinely hope you get a narrow win at the weekend and take the league. You're the best team by some distance and I work with a couple of Liverpool fans that will be more unbearable than normal.

I had no idea which way he would go with that Llorente VAR call: it clearly touched his hand but the hand wasn't making his silhouette any bigger. They seem to make it up as they go along with hand ball these days. Obviously glad he gave the goal and if the same had been disallowed at the other end you all would have understandably been saying that UEFA are corrupt.

Anyway, best of luck for the rest of the season, you deserve the treble and I'd be amazed if you aren't chasing the quadruple this time next year. Not sure what chance we've got in the semi with no Kane, Son suspended and the whole of our midfield injured...
