So much bitterness from some posters. Fair play to Liverpool. They beat Chelsea and then went to porto and smashed them at home. Porto who are undefeated at home. Is klopp a better coach...? Do they have a better team? Perhaps it's one of the two. Look at how they are powering through opponents. Not easy going to Porto.
Quit chatting shit, I would take dicky maybe as a replacement for Kompany and I’d have Mancini back before I had Gnasher.
This is the better team that threw away a 10 point lead, is it?
This is the manager that thinks watching a team warm up is mind games and has won 1(one) of the 6 cup finals he’s been in, and he’s better than pep? If you’re out of your mind on spice, maybe.

Liverpool are a team that is punching above their weight, (but after investing as much as they are that’s an incredible thing to say.)They are a rich man’a Leicester. Liverpool are Devoid of ideas when teams park the bus, but they have been gifted 6 points alone from Lloris, Pickford and Speroni. That isn’t bitterness, that is a fact, and it wasn’t the fact Liverpool stayed in the game that long, it was speroni basically threw it into his own net, it was, best case - luck, worst case - corruption.

Just because the media wank themselves silly over them every day doesn’t make it fact, people would do well to remember that.

I guess we could take the moral high ground and say fair play to Liverpool but when did they ever give a fuck about anyone but themselves?

6 points from Lloris and Speroni.? In the Spurs match it was 1-1 going into injury time when Lloris made the error, so we already had one point. We were also level when Speroni also made his error so another 2 points. So not 6 but 4. And you forgot Pickfords error in injury time when it was 0-0, so add another 3 points.

add the fulham keeper to the list and its 8 points altogether

So many things have gone their way in the league this season from offside goals to dubious penalties and goalkeeping blunders. I'm hoping that the extra games against Barcelona will have some affect on their league results and that will be how the "luck" finally evens itself out because we should really be about ten points ahead of them.

A better coach? He’s borderline insane. Ein Flug Uber die Kukoo Nest for him if he draws another blank this season.

Yea, Coutinho and Suarez will easily score, (or try to), against Liverpool. Barca defence was a worry in the first 10 mins of the Rags' match though. Can't see them holding the Liverpool attack at bay. We'll see.
I imagine City will destroy Spurs at the weekend after tonight so I don't think Liverpool will trouble city for the title.

The last few games I’ve watched Liverpool play ( didn’t watch last night) they have looked bang average, against spurs, against Southampton. Messi would put away those chances Chelsea had last week . Barca have got to be favourites imo. They’re running away with la liga for a reason.

Ajax Barca final I foresee. That will be an interesting one to call

There’s a reason why everyone wanted Porto in the QF, give your head a wobble

ha ha fingers crossed.

I think there is something in this. I read somewhere earlier this week that Madrid had said they would only make an offer for Mane should he hand in a transfer request, at the time I thought it weird that Madrid would say this as it would be Salah they would target

They didn't evict them, as they came up for sale they bought them and deliberately left them empty and in a state of disrepair. This meant that house prices in the area started to fall and because it started to look like Beirut more houses went up for sale, clearly no one in their right mind would buy them so LFC got them at a knock down price until they owned them all. (The few that were left in private hands were made ridiculously low bids but the owners had no choice but to accept. LFC then knocked them down and built their new stand.
Club of the every day man (or woman).......

One team had to get Porto...
We had the hardest group draw out of all the English teams, and we got a relatively easier draw this time around.
I can't believe City fans are complaining about our draws when they've faced probably the easiest teams overall, especially in the domestic competitions.
