Absolutely this! And I have said earlier, they absolutely NEED to win it this year. If not I can’t see them winning it in the near future. They have been good, at times, but they really have had more than their share of luck!Sterling vs Watford yes. But I just remembered that you were massively lucky at Vicarage Road when Robertson cropped Will Hughes - stone dead penalty not given.
Kompany red card - debatable at best. And if Kompany went for that then so too should Lovren for his horror challenge on Aguero. So even there also.
Dodgy pen vs. West Ham - Anderson clearly brought down Bernardo. And if you start on soft penalties, you're going to drown in a deluge of Salah quicksand
Offside goal against Palace - cancelled out the phantom free kick they got for their goal which was a clear dive.
Here's a tip - you're not gonna win this. Cos the evidence is known to all non-Liverpool fans - you have been lucky with ref decisions and goalie fuck-ups to a level rarely seen in any season. The "Expected Points" analysis that someone posted earlier by an independent source quantifies your luck as +10 points. You better win it this year, cos it's highly unlikely that will happen again in our lifetimes.
Seems you may have done!Other wrong decisions which have cost Liverpool this season:
Sadio Mane goal vs Arsenal should have stood
Maguire should have got a red card before scoring the equaliser when we played Leicester
Keita should also have got a penalty in that match
Alisson was blocked in the Burnley game
I won't deny that Liverpool have had some questionable decisions but most of the offside calls were very close (except against West Ham) and its not the easiest job in the world to be a referee.
Man City likewise have also had questionable decisions.

This link shows how decisions have impacted the games played.
At the end of the day, both teams have been excellent and you don't get to 80+ points through just 'dodgy refereeing'.
Haha, Whoop fuckity Whoop!ha ha fingers crossed.
ha ha fingers crossed.
To be fair, he is a tw@t
Well balanced and fair minded post... personally I’d have said most of them show themselves up after just one postThe only constant on this thread are the Liverpool fans who sign up and within a couple of posts make themselves look like dicks.
It kind of makes you think that maybe it’s not a coincidence - maybe Liverpool fans are just fucking pitiful, horrible stains on humanity.
The only positive is that we’ll see none of them after we’ve won a treble and they spend another season potless.
Half of their "first post"s you never even see ;-)Well balanced and fair minded post... personally I’d have said most of them show themselves up after just one post
Not sure if already been mentioned, but something that has struck me with the scousers this season is the luck with injuries too. Now when we were flying last season, all and sundry were banging on about us being on “peds”, yet the scousers don’t seem to be copping for the same shit. No doubt they’ve been phenomenal this season, you’d have to be truly blinkered to deny that. However as far as I can tell, they’ve hardly rotated(if at all) yet they’ve had no major injuries, or suspensions of note. Injuries have ravaged us this season, and that’s with heavily rotating, yet they seem to have been unaffected. Now I’m not saying they are indeed on peds, but the high energy performances they’ve been putting in every week, and to still be performing to that standard, seemingly unaffected does seem a bit odd. I know they lured our physio over to theirs, but surely it’s not just down to that. Surely a club of our stature and ambitions, would have had a world class replacement lined up? I know it all might come across as a bit tin hat tackle, but I can’t deny it’s had me thinking for sometime. Anyone else any thoughts on this?
Agreed. I'd never even consider going on a rival club's forum and post sensible comments (like I do on here!), never mind acting the Billy Big Bollocks. To me, that's the actions of a sad fucker who needs to get out and get laid. They shouldn't be allowed to post crap, we wouldn't expect to get away with posting this stuff on another teams forum, not that I would dream of it anyway as it is sad as fuck.

I always used to think of steroids as drugs/substances used to gain an edge physically in terms of gaining muscle/strength etc but I've since learned that there is probably no faster way to recover from injuries and muscular fatigue than steroids. Not sure if already been mentioned, but something that has struck me with the scousers this season is the luck with injuries too. Whose complaining? I don’t care that Liverpool got Porto, it’s luck of the draw so how can one complain. I just think going to Porto and ‘smashing them’ isn’t as impressive as you want it to. ‘Going to Porto isn’t easy’. Well going to Bournemouth isn’t easy either, but I wouldn’t offer that as proof that city are superior to other teams. Sorry I don’t share your same level of awe. And Porto undefeated at home this season? Just in March they were beaten by Benfica. One team had to get Porto...
We had the hardest group draw out of all the English teams, and we got a relatively easier draw this time around.
I can't believe City fans are complaining about our draws when they've faced probably the easiest teams overall, especially in the domestic competitions.
Because of SalahHe would never get in your team because
