We had to play a 16-year-old when Lovren got injured - surely Lovren is better than him.
Matip has been playing amazing since he came into the team.
Keita started the season well but then got injured, which disrupted his rhythm. Only now is he starting to find form.
Henderson has also been really good in the number 8 position.
Also, you didn't lose KDB for a season, he came back and hit top form before getting injured again due to your congested schedule.
The Ox was definitely our best attack-minded midfielder last season - who else gives us the attacking impetus, only now is Keita starting to provide that, but if we had Ox then the midfield could definitely have contributed a lot more goals.

There was one point in the season when we only had 1 remaining fit CB.

He played 2 full games after coming back then getting injured again he is an important player for us. If Liverpool had lost VVD for the same amount of games as kdb theyd be competing for fourth place.

You only have to go back to the game against Liverpool , Robertson all over Sterling and wrestled him to the ground , nothing given ..had Sterling thrown himself to the floor like Salah he'd more than likely have been carded for diving , Dippers and particularly Salah seem to be playing to different set of rules to the rest of us ....

Just realised that in our remaining games we have a team with a Liverpool fan as a manager, then a team with an ex Liverpool manager managing them and they play a team with an ex Liverpool manager managing them.

KDB has not been match fit, at all yet, since the early season injury He was the player we 'can't do without'.
Aguero has had several spells out injured & is not fit now. He is a player we 'can't do without'.
Fernandinho picked up an injury just before our toughest spell of the season & isn't fit now. He is a player we 'can't do without'.
David Silva picked up an injury months ago & has not been the same since. Another player we can't do without'.
We have had no left back for most of the season & the guys who fill in there are both not match fit.
John Stones was imperious at the start, got injured & now only plays occasionally.
Vincent Kompany is injured full stop.
Our backup to Aguero, Gabriel Jesus, has had several injured spells usually just as he got fit & started scoring, so at times, like now for example, we have had no match fit striker.

Meanwhile, we won the League Cup, got to.the final of the FA Cup, quarter finals of the Champs Lg & still in the frame for the title.

I wonder how we might be getting on, with just one or two less injuries.
