It's not ideal to be missing Fernandinho and KDB but the front 6 that absolutely walked through United in the 2nd half are all available.

Gundogan
B Silva D Silva
Sterling Aguero Sane
Play that front 6 again and we'll have too much for them. Gundogan relishes the deep lying playmaker role and the Silva/Sane linkup is dynamite.

Hope all our players watched Klopps performance last night getting the kop wound up into a frenzy you would think they were all but waiting for the trophy lift The media drank it in with the hammering of "poor old" beleaguered Huddersfield Compare this when were accused of disrespect and distaste in our bashing of Burton were we meant to declare ? Really hope its not a tight one tommorow my ticker isnt as strong as it used to be A comfy win with no more injuries would do nicely

Relieved it wasn't today with this horrendous weather it would have evened it up and suited Burnley more.

I now we are all slightly pessimistic (we wouldn’t be City fans otherwise lol) but Pep has got our squad treating these remaining games as cup finals

Domestic treble on the line and another record set by our club if achieved

Smash them 0 - 6. Liverpool will put eggs in the CL basket and lose away at Newcastle meaning we can win the title at home on Monday night........then I woke up.

Not sure about the 0-6... but the rest of your post is very possible

Although I will say, if we don't beat Burnley, there's every chance the Dippers could prioritise Newcastle over Barca. If we do beat Burnley it will be the other way around

"All is good!"

Poke out my eye and cut off my arm if I'm wrong,
but didn't Lord Nelson say that at Trafalgar?
Maybe. and he also said "Kismet, Hardy" as he was dying (= oh, bugger) and Hardy heard him wrong and gave the admiral a kiss.

I can see Laporte at left-back now there is no Fern. We will need a least 1 talk player in the starting 11

Burnley will now be mathematically safe when they play us (I know that, with their GD, realistically they were already! Now it's a fact!).
Hopefully, it will have a psycological effect on their players and it will take the edge off their performance. City to win 4-0.

And so will Brighton if they win tonight.

Perfect.

For me, Burnley totally rely on long balls so the General HAS to play. The front 6 pick themselves for me (gundo, Silva, silva, sane, kun, raz) and as harsh as it is I think zinchenko will drop out. Back line of ederson, walker, Vinnie, otamendi, laporte. All 4 good in the air and pep generally doesn't play sane from the start if zin/Mendy are at left back, plus the swift counter attack isn't really on the cards so
zinchenkos pace isn't as crucial whereas laportes long diagonals could open things up for us

Yep, I'm hoping it will take 10% off their performance levels.

Burnley are predictable , set pieces and long ball will be there tactics , they will defend deep with ten behind the ball , absolutely no way will they attempt to take the game to us , Dyche only knows one way to play against the top teams. Expect 80% possession and hopefully an early goal to settle any nerves , the longer they defend and get their blocks and tackles in the more determined they will be , but after the Champs league defeat our players will be fully focused for our last three league games. Unless something stupid happens a sending off or a dodgy penalty then i cant't see our lads slipping up , Pep will have Burnley worked out and will play the right players and tactics. Dyche versus Pep a tactical mis-match.

So you’d play our slowest player to counter the ball in behind?

Everyone knows how Burnley play, however it's just not that easy to play against them. Their time wasting bollocks against Chelsea is something that drives me fucking mad, but it's their game. It's going to be tougher tomorrow than it was on Wednesday.

Only tougher because Burnley wont attempt to go past the half way line , at least the Rags with their limited ability gave it a go ,i think Tierney is the ref and he needs to give the f*ckers yellow cards for time wasting or add the correct amount of injury time (unless we are hanging on to a one goal lead :)

Yep, that's exactly what I mean. The Rags think they can go toe to toe with us so will try to attack, Burnley will be going for 0-0 tomorrow and only make an effort at set plays. Watch out for long balls over the top and then diving to get free kicks around 25 yards out.

It's not going to be a comfortable watch.
