Liverpool thread 2018/19

Liverpool have had it all on a plate, whether it's because of fortune or nefarious means by the powers who be, but fixtures have been kind in terms of them playing before us and the amount of rest between games. Also none of their key players have had significant injuries; they have also had a number of dodgy keepers throwing the ball in the net as well as a bunch of soft pens and decisions going their way..

If they don't win it this year I fully expect the toll to have an impact on their performances next year..

I refuse to talk about the FA Cup until the league games are over. This title race is ridiculous, especially having to play after them so often. To be fair to Liverpool they've been very, very good and one of us is going to have to finish second. I've said for a few weeks that one of us will drop points, if I'm being honest i didn't expect us to come through Spurs, Rags and Burnley unscathed. However, I'm still positive that Leicester, Newcastle, Wolves or Brighton will take points off one of us. It's going to be a nail biting two weeks.

I’d like to think the Geordies away between two Barca games is the worst fixture of the four for either team. I agree though that has been a great battle just hope we win through in the end... with two games to go and it still being in our hands is all we can ask for really

Anyway this is another reason we simply must win the title, the psychological blow it would inflict would carry over for many years. VAR is coming next season so bad news for them.

This season was the perfect storm for them. If they don’t win it this season they won’t win it anytime soon.

If they won’t win it anytime soon then where is next year’s challenge going to come from?

Three titles on the trot would stand out as an achievement that would endure for decades.

But if Tottenham win the League cup next season that'll overshadow it.

What you on about? Tyler said the other night Liverpool had had the tougher fixtures this season. Haha haha

You have been saying for weeks that one of us will drop points and I have been saying none of us will, guess I am right so far!
