Leicester probably won’t have a lot to play for so they may be a bit more open than most teams we faced. Hopefully we can stop Vardy getting his customary goal against us.

They will still have a Europa place to play for which Rogers stated was his aim when he took over.

Hello all, Leicester fan in peace.
Just wanted to say good luck and congratulations on your teams performance and sheer quality this season.
I have a long time connection to your team as a close friend and his son have been lifetime supporters, so over the years we've gone to various games together, mostly leicester defeats with the odd glorious victory thrown in. I was even lucky enough to be in your 'Mary D's' for the last minute winner v QPR. Truly memorable moments even though it was'nt my team involved, to see the pure emotion that my friends experienced was something that almost made me cry with envy... Little did i know that i would share those emotions only a few years later!
This season the quality of yourselves and Liverpool has been unprecedented IMO. Rarely has ONE team showed the quality along with consistency and dominance, each of you pushing the other to be better has made it fascinating for the neutrals.
That being said my hatred for Liverpool or 'scum' goes back to the late eighties. My thirteen year old mate was slashed across his back for daring to wear his own clubs colors in his own city....
So trust me when i say id happily give you the three points if i could.

As far as the game goes, reading a lot of the previous posts in this thread, i do think we may give you more of a game than some of you think.
Since Brenda has come in we may of only beaten lesser teams and Arsenal but you can only beat whats in front of you, cant you?
This season we have already beat yourselves, Spurs, Chelsea at the bridge, drew with Liverpool etc, so we will at least turn up confident that we can give you a game.
Personally can see it being as tight as a knats twat with you scoring two in the last ten.

Whatever happens in our game good luck regardless and please please win the title, not just for you, but for every single football fan out there thats not a wheel stealing oxygen thieving scouse scumbag.

Thanks for your thoughts.
Winning titles is still a thing of wonder & beauty for us City fans, as I'm sure it was for you.
Especially those of us who spent 20 years watching Liverpool dominate, and then another 20 years watching United do the same. Imagine how painful that was!

So we feel like we are finally getting our own back / having our time in the sun.

Leicester seem to be on the up again, so I hope you enjoy the next few seasons ... but not next Monday!

Am absolutely a nervous wreck .. fanny wipes I know!! I am scared it will turn into that shit show we saw at home v rags last year??!!

When is the last time we beat a Rodgers team, genuine question?

Celtic was two draws. Was it the Negredo Xmas special?

Anyhow, he sets his team up to press like mad and Leicester have some decent talent.

Hopefully Newcastle can take some of the edge off by getting something on the Saturday.

On the flip side, I can tell you Kapser absolutely fucking hates Liverpool ;)
Nailed on og ! Agent Kasper

Really wont mind if Newcastle do us a raspberry and get something. but with them not fighting for anything i dont see Benitez demanding a heroic effort Just on yesterday i did feel a little sad for Hart ,always thought he would end up at City his whole career just shows how things can go tits up

Fans will not be happy if team don’t give everything to fk them over given the 4-3 in the past. Benitez on a sticky wicket with fans if they roll over
They will not roll over. Benitez WILL prepare his team properly and do the best for Newcastle. Just like a striker scoring against his old club and not celebrating.

No I have no doubt Benitez would love to end season on this good run they are on.

What?

Laporte is significantly faster than the other 3. Stones is straight line faster than Kompany, albeit not as aggressive. And Otamendi is by far the slowest of the 4.

Can't believe anyone thinks there is no discernible difference amongst the 4

There isn't much of a difference between them. We haven't got any centre-backs that are particularly fast and I don't think we've got any that are particularly slow either. I'd probably say Laporte is fastest but he isn't 'fast'. Kompany is still faster than Stones for me. It was only last season that he was running past Aubameyang in the Carabao Cup final. I'd say it was close between Otamendi and Stones who is slowest but still pretty close between all 4.

Why would Benitiz want to help them. People read too much into these things. Newcastle will try their very best I have no doubt about that as will leicester but it won't be because the managers have any great love for the dippers. Anyway its in our hands we dont need any favours. Pep knows the strengths of Leicester im sure he'll have a plan.

Call me cynical but the rumour in yesterdays press surrounding our link to Harry Maquire could be deemed 'ill/ironically' timed? My concerns with the game against Leicester are their aerial prowess at set pieces when we are not blessed with natural height!! In any case, Pep must start with his strongest 11 but I would consider the rawness of Phil Foden at the expense of Spanish Dave (first half at least - IMHO). CTID

All though the rest is welcome!
The main benefit of eight days between games, will be the extra time spent on the training pitch.
It has looked a little sloppy over the last few weeks. Getting back to Peps basics over the next week, will hopefully sort out the loose passing
and sharpen up our press.
We need to get back to making movements between the lines, always having someone showing for a pass, and everyone working the press at the same time.
If we get these areas back to our usual standards, I think the next 3 games will be more enjoyable, and less finger nail biting.
Come on Pep, do your magic!

Nah, if we wanted to distract him we'd do it the day before and the day of the game.

When was the last time we conceded a set piece?

So oldius once again wants the Liverpool fans to brick our coach. I wonder if he was 1 of the scum that did it last year. I just wish the same thing happened to their coach, I wonder then what he would have to say if a couple of this players were injured by so thugs bricking a Liverpool coach with his players on it.
