Wouldnt take mich notice of Aldridge tbh, he once threatened to sue a parody ITV twitter account that claimed he was arrested for assaulting a pigeon that was taunting him...

Dont think he's altogether there, plus he's been a member of the cult for such a long time, he's beyond brainwashed.

he also threatened the lad by sending round some everton mates from the same area. bloke is not right in the head for sure.

re liverpool and their famous history and not being a plastic club is it not true that-
even though they had a golden period between 73-90 they never actually won the fa cup until 65.chelsea, spurs, west ham and newcastle all won european trophies before them. in the 70's they broke the transfer records for dalglish and souness and in the 80's they again broke them for barnes and beardsley......oil sheiks buying success lol ;-)

He only played for them for 2 years, same as he did for Benfica. He played longer for Oxford, Newport and even longer for Tranmere.

You’d think he’d played for the dippers for decades the way he goes on.

It has started. It continues.

Probably finishing 2nd, is the new moral finishing first.

Includes link, as it’s another absolute Liverpool deluded cracker.

Danny Murphy, John Barnes, John Aldridge, etc, and now the Liverpool Echo.

Liverpool haven't thrown Premier League title away, any other year we'd have won it by a mile
A year ago Reds were so far behind Manchester City but they've caught them up

https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...verpool-havent-thrown-premier-league-16199923

Once again, no mention of the offside goals, the Salah diving penalties, the opposing keeper mistakes, the wrong refereeing decisions, very few injuries, etc. All brushed under the red denial carpet.

Any supporter talking of how their club is ‘better’ just because it’s had more historical success denegtares the majority of football supporters, and is therefore a cünt. I so hope City fans of my vintage don’t fall into that trap. Much bigger ask for the younger supporters though. Expectation levels will unquestionably continue to rise.

Think your lot are still pretty grounded, mate.

Also no mention that they wouldnt have won it last year either, pr*cks.

The fucking big soft prick. It was only a month ago he claimed we would drop points and his beloved team would overcome all obstacles thrown at them.First class wanker this guy.

"Manchester United fans will disagree, but I bet most football fans would prefer to see a Liverpool side that have built a team with money generated by the club's shrewd business dealings end up as champions rather than a City team who have been propelled to the top of the game because of money from oil-rich owners.

"Pep Guardiola is a great manager and City are a fine team, but there will always be something unpleasant about a rich guy winning a contest over a less fortunate rival and that is what we have here.

"Throw in the fact that most teams City play roll over and have their tummy rubbed by them as they are scared stiff of taking them on and I can only commend this Liverpool team for what they have achieved.
And thus we see myth, legend and folklore being manufactured before our very eyes.

i would like to think so, in fairness some reds are as well. i think we rub them up in the same you possibly do with your neighbours. we refuse to blow smoke up their arses and tell them how wonderful they are. i have mates who support many teams and respect every one of them. i would never dream of belittling them by talking about 'istree.

I’ve got many Liverpool fans who I dearly like/love and would be genuinely happy for them if they won the league; I was referring to the extremes of their support, the lunatic fringe, who are a significant minority imo (and many will think I’m being generous there)

John Aldridge makes bold claim about Liverpool's class of 2019

https://www.independent.ie/sport/so...-about-liverpools-class-of-2019-38059956.html

Will brighten up a Monday afternoon

‘Kin hell. It started off reasonably sensible (for Aldridge) then it fell off the edge of the world into an ocean of salty, bitter tears.

Good to see the Independent qualified all his bullshit claims like good journalists do....

Poor ickle Dippers, slowly building their club through shrewd investment from billionaire owners.....

Is sucking the Dipper teat Aldridge retirement plan? Wanker
