- the announced Txiki-Viana meeting most probably hasn't happened (the reports about its time and place are very contradictory)
- lots of buzz in the Portuguese media

I'm inclined to think City are not interested in Bruno and letting Sporting use their name to lure Woodward into a stupid deal. Either Gundo has agreed to extend, or we're lining up someone else.

Bruno won’t be a Fernandinho replacement. He’s a way more advanced midfielder. I’m also presuming that we’ll keep Gundo at DM or buy a more direct replacement for Fernandinho (hopefully Rodri). His numbers are phenomenal and hes not even in the top two teams in Portugal. Add Rodri and phwoar, our midfield options are ridiculous.

The point I’m making is 1 in (Ferna) doesn’t make much sense when you look at the volatility of the midfield. I think we will take the initiative and flog Gundogan given his indecisiveness and replace him with Bruno. Who I also believe has the traits to be a much better fit for our number 8 positions than Ilkay.

Felix is the one, though. I assumed the figures involved would rule us out but we are being very aggressive in the market these last few weeks.
That would tally with my info the club expect a transfer ban of some sorts next January.
There might be a couple coming from Benfica and keeping fingers crossed on Rodrigo.
Just thinking aloud, I suspect, Danilo and Gundo are goners and we will be forced to sell Leroy if he doesn't commit before mid-June.

We've got a ban coming. Some stuff is being accelerated and will certainly be taking into account Dave and Fern not being here after summer 2020.
Makes much more sense to integrate the new guys when they can still take advantage of learning from the best.
I also fear KDB will never be the same again after his recent run of injuries.

Think that’s a bit dramatic tolm. Kdb was at his best against spurs in the champions league before getting a hamstring strain in the league game. Very common occurrence after a lengthy lay off. Sure with a nice break and full pre season he will be fit and firing next seasonWe've got a ban coming. I would assume that Gabby Jesus would be more at risk than Sane. Sam Lee I'm sure said Pep had lost faith with him, and maybe we see Felix as a long term #9. We'd be able to sell Gabby for a great fee, and it also looks like Madrid want Otamendi which could help with our pursuit of Rodri?

Exactly. Too many games last season and WC led to his injuries struggles. He’s not even in his prime yet!!
