Premier League Games 3/4/5/6 May

it definitely was. No reason why he couldn't have awarded the goal and then go back to issue the red.

How many times do refs let play go on to see what materialises then go back and book a foul? Granted he couldn't have awarded a penalty but he definitely could and should have given the red!

So under what law are you issuing the red card offence under then?

Again, who is that Newcastle centreback!?

That is the fourth time he has passed it straight to a Liverpool player under no pressure and he has been adrift for both of Liverpool’s goals.

Have the Barcodes got a ringer on the bench that looks a bit like Messi?

Deliberately stopped a goal. The fact a goal went in, in the next phase of play is irrelevant. The ref played advantage in that Newcastle could have (and did) scored. The original offence happened and should be punished.

Put it this way, if that was Walker you could almost guarantee the goal would gave stood and he would've walked (no pun intended).

Carraghers commentary is literally like that spoof one on the Palace piss take video when they lost the league last time. “DATS A FOUL DAT IS”
