Has anyone spent a few minutes thinking about ploppy when the goal went in, I have haha. Delicious
Someone needs to tell him that the Colin Bell stand is at the side not the end.Don’t know why they are universally loathed
It's Cup Final Day.
Their money has got them into a position to win the League this year. But we're still there. One of the greatest Liverpool sides ever is still there and fighting. Their petro-dollars against the Liver Bird. Commerce against Football.
Sunday is Cup Final Day. And money no longer counts. It's just a test of nerve now. They have the one point advantage but it's about who wins their match. They cannot afford to lose, obviously. But they can't afford to draw either.
We are at home. They are away. We're at beloved Anfield, the greatest football ground in the world. We will win. Wolves are a very good team, a welcome addition to the Premier League, but the Kop will be supersonic and our boys will put on a show. Three points. An absolutely certainty. Anfield demands nothing less.
City don't have that advantage. They may squirm another narrow victory away at Brighton. The odds say they will. But it's not a dead cert, not the way they are playing at the moment. Not with their Bell End supporters who have clearly taken a vow of silence when the score is still nil-nil.
There is everything to play for. Jurgen is right. We are Liverpool. This means...we are the fucking greatest football team that has ever fucking existed. Come on Redmen!
Klipperty wouldn't field a week team in a cup competition just so they can concentrate on the league? Surely not. ;-)Probably been mentioned already but has klipperty given up on tonight's game and saving his 'star' players for Sunday?
A song for next season if plop ends up trophy less again.
His name is Jurgen Klopp he's a master flop,
he came over to England to win the f****** lot
he had the best strikers, the best defender too,
but fate has determined.... he's always number two....
and repeat!
Definitely the latter, I think at this stage they're resigned to finishing second so the former wouldn't cause them too much additional pain. Having the chance after looking like they'd blown it, to win it on the final day and blowing it again would probably feel akin to how we felt between the 48th and 94th minutes on 13/05/2012, but without the happy ending :)I wonder which would piss them off most.
We both win on Sunday and they get 97 points and only lose once but still don't win the league.
We both draw/lose so they could have won it but blew it on the last day.
They already have the 97 points, the 2nd highest points total ever apparently. It’s a sham that we are allowed to play an extra game to see if we can get 98I wonder which would piss them off most.

Not a patch on...A song for next season if plop ends up trophy less again.
