Just tuned in and heard the usual total dis-regard for wolves. Whenever they are talking about another twist in the race it is always (as just spouted by the prick saunders) what if brighton get a goal and hang on, whilst salah gets a hat-trick !!
Tell you what I really hope Nuno Santo and Wolves are listening to all this because they are being dismissed as nothing but cannon-fodder on Sunday
The thing is it doesn't matter what their opinions are, it's what they print and say on the TV and radio on a regular basis that counts. And it has been unrelenting pro-dipper propaganda. Apparently the dippers have done it the 'right' way. By spending 1/4 billion last year alone on players and having a wage bill second only to the rags whilst simultaneously cheating in every game they play. If that's the 'right' way God alone knows what the 'wrong' way is. Perhaps not loading debt up against the club by the owners?Just had the misfortune to switch on and hear that Scottish bloke who does transfer deadline day (White?). They're talking about whether Pep's right that the media are biased & want a Liverpool win. So they're asking various journalists for an opinion. Their opinion is a bit predictable.
Kind of kicked their own argument up the arse there didn't they?Everton fan laying in to them with facts and they cut him off.
Trying to defend the indefensible. Every non Liverpool fan knows what's going on.Kind of kicked their own argument up the arse there didn't they?
Jim Shite bullshitting that he never cuts anyone off.And have since changed the subject.
You will be relieved to know Jim White has totally refuted any accusations of scouse bias. You're lucky you didn't listen to the previous hour. I tuned in as I was under the mistaken impression they would at least have to pay lip service to discussing our game and Vinny's goal, with maybe a City related guest interview. I was wrong. Tedious discussion about the fitness levels of the United team interspersed with Liverpool previews of famous European nights etc. etc. The only mention was Dean Saunders asking Neil Mellor how disappointed he felt! They've totally given up even pretending to be balanced.
Ha ha very good! The thing is it doesn't matter what their opinions are, it's what they print and say on the TV and radio on a regular basis that counts. Well atleast that's put it to bed ;-)You will be relieved to know Jim White has totally refuted any accusations of scouse bias.
Darren Lewis the Liverpool fan?TalkSport tweeted Guardiola's comment about media bias, and virtually every comment or retweet agreed with him. The only dissenters were Liverpool fans, and predictably journalists like White and Darren Lewis last night. They only have to look at their own Twitter feed to see the truth.
That's the one. He was ridiculing the notion that the media in general were supporting Liverpool by stating that individual journalists supported other clubs. Goldstein was having none of it though. He agreed that Liverpool were definitely favoured this season.Darren Lewis the Liverpool fan?
No one really likes the integrity of their industry being questioned, which is why all the media are so defensive about this issue of bias, but I do know a few (not football) journalists, and the one thing that always leaves them completely non-plussed is when it's pointed out to them that they are not the best placed people to discern whether there is groupthink and bias. It's always like introducing a new subject to someone.
His comments properly touched a nerve with a lot of them. There was some bloke from the New York Times having a proper rant about it on Twitter. The haven't been this worked up since Raheem pointed out their racism. But they couldn't argue against that one, because that would have made them seem like racists even more.No one really likes the integrity of their industry being questioned, which is why all the media are so defensive about this issue of bias, but I do know a few (not football) journalists, and the one thing that always leaves them completely non-plussed is when it's pointed out to them that they are not the best placed people to discern whether there is groupthink and bias.
