Hotels for Wembley

i’m looking for some advice , four of us driving to Wembley but our accommodation has been cancelled and we’re looking for somewhere to stay , was thinking of maybe outskirts of London with good transport links for the game , decent pubs would be a bonus ...any recommendations ?

Stayed at Watford premier inn past 4 trips to Wembley. Avoiding it this time for obvious reasons. Good night out there though.
Staying in Ealing premier inn instead.

We are staying at the holiday inn express Hemel Hempstead. Apsley train station is across road and goes to Wembley Central

Fox and Goose on Hanger Lane, just of the A40 so straight in and away afterwards and a really decent hotel and pub attached.
