I am not so sure. Surely they cannot be so fortunate next year in terms of refs decisions, key players avoiding injuries and howlers by GKs. It's been the perfect storm for them this season.

This is the new order if afraid.
So long as Pep and klopp are around i can't see anyone getting a sniff .

A final is nothing more than one can expect from a club that set a world record in spending last year. Nothing to celebrate really.

Two world records at least.

Most expensive defender (van Dijkhead) and most expensive goalkeeper (Allison), though that was subsequently broken by Chelsea.

He said he wants them to be feared whilst they rack up the trophie like they did all those years ago and how they are going to dominate everything again, every day he comes up with something, non stop gobbing off

They sound desperate with this X and Y are going to do them a favour, can't they do it on their own?

Nope. Winning the title is not in their hands. They need us to slip up, or Brighton to perform. So they scrape any barrel lying around, get any dead beat ex-player, or sub-intelligent third rate hack to 'charm' their 'mates' into a favour!

I have just seen a Liverpool fan chatting shit about winning parade, he said that Liverpool 2005 after the Champions League win they had 1 million but City for 2012 had 100.000. I said well done consider that Liverpool has population of 500.000 same as Manchester. But then Google found for my BBC article where this is conformed. How in hell did they get 1 million into Liverpool the numbers must have been cooked.

One of ours is worth twenty of theirs!

Photoshop, mate :)

i bet there wasn't a single bin that didn't get raided :D

As the dippers have done so well representing the premier league this week Klopp has asked if for one week only " 4 points for a home win and only 3 for an away one.
Oh and home goals count double.

He hasn't really but them fuckers would if they could.

Can't keep up with this thread, too many new posts since I last looked. I agree with most of what I presume has been said about them though.
The 'C' word has been used a lot.

No, not Chelsea... the other one. you know the one, the worser one :)

C is only for Champions-League-winner-'99-Ole-Did-you-see-my-goal? (same meaning as the one you mean too)

Had a Scouse colleague (from not-Liverpool) banging on about their CL success and how City ruined European football, closing the market to honestly-ran clubs. I think he didn't understand when I said that they've entered the CL, wn it in 2005, came 2nd twice in 2018 and 2007 - and reached this year's final depsite never being Champion since 1990.

Their clean owners also owned Fulham previously. Loyal? Tibet Water Resources Ltd (TWRL) controversy? Money in football is astronomical but why do their fans claim the high ground at every turn?

They think it's a benefit.

Sounds like bullshit. At first glance, what would you think was less likely, overturning a 3-0 Barca lead, or a 2-0 Ajax lead?

Not bullshit. Those odds to qualify of 14-1 for Liverpool and 20-1 for Spurs were exactly the same odds I saw on Bet365 when Liverpool were 1-0 up early in the 2nd half and Spurs were 2-0 down early in the 2nd half. In any case, at those exact points Liverpool only needed 2 more to take it to extra time whereas Spurs needed 3 more to ensure they went through.
I’m annoyed I didn’t have a nibble on either to be honest. I can let the Liverpool one go but to be presented with even better odds for Spurs the following night - and in light of Liverpool’s comeback - and still not stick a few quid on was a schoolboy error.

The local council would be better off preparing soup queues for repatriated bankrupt dippers returning from Madrid, rather than releasing news about parades that may never happen.
