I'm also on Grand Old Team and one poster there made a very good point about weaponising Hillsborough. Like the whole 'it's the 30th anniversary this year so we should have the trophy' thing.

I mean, I support the HJC and I always have. But I hate how Liverpool fans will use Hillsborough as an excuse to be dickheads. Everton fans have stood shoulder to shoulder with them for years over Hillsborough and we still get accused of singing Hillsborough songs. Maybe the odd moron does but most of us know better.

As a bitter blue i did as much as anyone re supporting them re Hillsborough. But how do they reward it - steau flags and chants, accusations of spitting on the memorial after every derby.
The club and media whip their fanbase up to a frenzy and we see innocent people suffer. After the inevitable misbehaviour in Madrid they will deny any responsibility and blame it on dose cockernees

It's just bullshit propaganda. Just like Liverpools defence is the best, most blended teams have all Liverpool back line....not sure why as we're equal for goals conceded across all competitions except we made the final of two they bombed out of (less goals per game conceded).

Yeah, they change in-play to reflect the scoreline at the time. Obviously pre-match, Liverpool’s odds for qualification were higher than Spurs but still lower than 20-1, but what that bookie guy would’ve been alluding to is the highest odds for qualification that either team was at any point before or during their 2nd leg matches.
 
I seem to remember their fans throwing bananas at black players? Of course that never get’s mentioned.

That Banana throwing only changed when John Barnes signed for Liverpool on a free, or via a net spend transfer. It had nothing to do with the Moore’s family and their personal wealth, whatsoever.

I hope it's a draw for the shit stains tomorrow, then the only reason they didn't win the Prem was because we were the only team to beat them, come on City do it tomorrow.

That was everton fans according to john aldridge as he said he picked them up. Truth is the liverpool fans themselves also threw them at him but they airbrush it from their selective history

The funny thing is he looks more whacky with his stifled celebration than when he was jumping around the technical area.

Liverpool smashed their wage structure to sign Barnes. He was the first player in the English League to earn £10K a week
