Did it sound okay? Did two interviews today - both with a croaky voice after yesterday. First about 0825 for BBC R4 - that was edited but first question was about the money/buying success. Should be able to listen here https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00051nc (you’ll need to scroll to 825am to get it) and then R5L about 13.15 - https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000588v#play Again you’ll need to scroll to the right time.

Nicely answered but they always have to be ****s with the shitty questions, it never happens for anybody else, I can't remember them grilling Chelsea about their owner.

The Telegraph reports on City are a bit of a mixed bag. Jason Burt is very complimentary in his report on the game and City in general. Paul Hayward was doing OK until he let slip that City are a "sovereign wealth project" which means he believes City are owned by a country rather than a private equity company with no access whatsoever to a sovereign wealth fund.

Then there is a pictorial listing by somebody called Charlie Eccleshare on the "Ten key moments that helped decide the title". Those involving City include Vinny should have been red carded v Liverpool, Southampton should have had a penalty with score at 1-1 at St Marys, City "on the ropes" and "riding their luck" v Spurs at home, and Lamela and Iheanacho missing late sitters with City leading 1-0.

Those involving Liverpool include them being denied a penalty (oh, the irony) when Keita went down in the box v Leicester as well as the Vinny incident. No mention of the opposition goalkeeping howlers, the offside goals being allowed to stand, the serial penalty dives by Salah and Mane and the Fabinho dive for the free kick that led to the winner at Newcastle without which City would have effectively been confirmed as champions last Monday evening.

So no mention of the Wolves handball goal that cost us reaching 100 points again??

Had Radio 1 on most of the day, every hour they are running with the big sports story of the day... Chris Hughton being sacked, i'm thinking yes this links straight into us winning the league, nope, nada, fuckall.
Was I hallucinating or did we actually win the league yesterday??

You came across very well mate, didn't notice any croakiness, you spoke well, very good club ambassador!

fucking hell, it's like nothing special happened at Brighton yesterday for Daily mail. In first yard of scrolling the page, single thing about City is fans throwing a pint at Neville's head.

Watched the six o'clock evening news with eagerness , everytime the Dippers regained top spot it made the national news , about haklf a dozen occasions so i was looking forward to the BBC news salivating over our title triumph .................nothing. BBC are c*nts.

Same, also Radio 4 kept doing nice long football segment when Liverpool went top, I confess I must have been out of my van when they gave Gary James 5 minutes so they could grill him about our cash and being investigated.

Never mind the trophy is ours and they can't take it away and hand it back to Liverpool as much as they would like too lol
