I have two that melt my heart
1/ Mmmm Bop - feeding my son as a baby 22 years ago it was on the radio and his fist "words" were Mmmm bop to encourage me to keep feeding him. He hates me for reminding him in front of friends but it takes me back to a happy time.
2/ Love Story by Taylor Swift - my daughter decided to teach herself guitar and one evening I was walking down the stairs and heard through her door her playing the chords and singing along....I stopped and listened. She is just graduating from uni and embarking on a career in the performing arts and those early small steps again fill my heart when I hear Taylor Swift.
I keep telling them they will never know until they have their own kids.
Anyway thats my experience I am sure Blues have many many songs they love with diverse reasons - lets hear them - if there are skellies in your cupboards get them out now - if you like Bucks Fizz Land of Make Believe tell us all why !!
