Guardiola can sometimes miss particular vocabulary and structures in their questions, but he's certainly able to identify the snide tone and nuance of their questions.

I hope he unleashes the team and that we absolutely destroy Watford (no offence to them) just to ram it up the crayon chewing hacks. 7-0 needed to beat Bury's record.

No, why?
I see it as a cherry on the cake.
Retaining the PL title alone is immense. You need to have an extraordinary group of personalities to achieve that after a centurian season
and an outstanding leader to handle such a bunch of warriors.

What if KDB and Mendy will have a fully fit season??

It's extremely difficult for any competitor to beat our mentality and Watford will need the match of their lives to achieve that.

Can't wait. Already fist pumping as a warm up ;-)
 
Was a fantastic press conference by pep. My personal favourite part was when one of the bottom feeders asked about the lack of love we get from the media, pep I assume misunderstood but went on a tangent about how the fans love and appreciate what we do...paused then smiled before saying a lot. I’m so glad he knows how much we as fans love and appreciate what he and the team has done last few years

I also enjoyed the sarcastic tone to the question about greizman, sorry guys we can’t afford him. Subtle dig there.

Love the guy and to think we have him for 2 more years at least is just wonderful.

I was also a lot more nervous before Brighton, no means complacent about tomorrow but last week just felt there was so much riding on it. Hoping for a professional performance tomorrow and an early goal to settle the nerves that will inevitably appear at kick off.

We had the weight of stopping the Klanfield ****s on behalf of the rest of the world last week. This week is just about us.
 
It doesnt normally get to me .the sky biased cartel and media crap ,but just observed Peps pre final interview The way Klopp is treated is remarkably the polar opposite in tone,mood and overall joviality ive no doubt this is very much based on the need to be as far up the Germans backside as physically possible A tactic well practised by the constant need to do the same with Sir phalex

Not me. Me and my lad are in their end. Keeping quiet and sitting on our hands will be the order of the day. Just picked up my tickets and even though I ll not be in the City end I couldn’t miss tomorrow.

Was thinking back to the Gillingham game when after all the Gills had left our team went over to the fans who had been in their end that day.

Doesn’t feel like 20 years!

Yes. Not a single question about the match. The UK media still only interested in asking about the Allez allez song (Simon Stone), FFP, and are you leaving for Juve? Just pathetic. Don't they realise that fans can see the whole press conference live these days on Youtube. Pep was superb though.
 
After all the crap we've taken from the media this week I have the feeling that the fans will be really up for it tomorrow...I cannot wait... sing your hearts out blues.

The clubs fault they should have told the press only questions about winning the premier league and the cup final would be answered. Our PR department is shite.
 
Meeting friends in London tomorrow afternoon prior to heading down to Wembley. Don't suppose anyone knows if The Globe pub near Baker St is designated for City or Watford?

Usually found its whoever gets there first. Headed over there before the Carabao final and it was full of Chelsea fans throwing celery at taxis so moved onto the sports bar up near Marylebone.

Nice pub mate - too far away from Wembley to be full of football fans but I am sure there will be plenty of blues in there as its right on the Metropolitan line.
