Maybe Mahrez will be one of those guys who doesn't fully settle into Pep's style until his second season?
Bernardo looks about 1,000x better this year...
To be fair it took both Sane and Bernardo more than less a season to kick into elite players. Hopefully it is the same for Mahrez but I always assumed transitioning into a new league was the reason it took the former two about a season to explode

My wife said to me earlier 'remember Wigan. Don't get too excited'.
And for the first time in my life - I'm 43 - I said 'not this team. Not Peps team. This is ours' and I meant it.
No nerves (although I shit myself when they went 1 on 1 with Ederson).
We really are the real deal. This is what we thought 'could' happen when we were bought by HRH. This is what we expected when we realised Pep was managing us and this is what we've got.
This is our city and we are magic. Long live Pep and HRH. Love you Khaldoon and thank you. I will bring my son up with a legendary city team.
