The only good thing about this media attitude is the fact Pep finally understands and may well stay longer to grind them into the dust with a sustained bout of trophy dominance.
 
I have no issue with the question being asked or with the timing of it if in the last few days evidence has been uncovered that suggests an explanation is required (how many times in the past have we hammered a journo for not asking the difficult question to Ferguson / Mourinho etc?).

However, I'm sure that we are all pretty certain that this is not the case and in this instance this particular hack is purely being disruptive and disrespectful of our club, ownership, fanbase, manager and achievements.

As some other posters have eluded to, I think we may be close to a tipping point of what the club and manager deem 'acceptable' from a lot of media outlets.

A lot of it is just unsubstantiated slander...........
 
I love how the reporter said that before he asked the question he made a pity of saying, "Cingratulations." Wow. Can't argue with heart felt cheer like that!

That tweet proved he was either pissed or genuinely doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. Probably both.
 
These shocking statements are on Twitter and i bet 90% of the population don't read them the only time I read them in on bluemoon in the media thread, I mean who the fuck follows these ****s , having said that there is definitely a sustained effort to undermine our achievements, but we will win out in the end, I'd start by getting the ball going on the racist front keep at it and finally it will get hold, same as the sterling shite thats been turned round because people are scared shit of been called racist because it will end in a sacking

So all you on Twitter pick the same target and go for it instead of complaining on bluemoon, fight back

It doesn't matter who owns our football club, there is a fit and proper process to go through before anyone buys one, we passed it or the Sheikh wouldn't own us. Not sure what this backhander allegation alludes to but if Pep is employed by us surely he can receive a bonus, or is it something to do with breaking FFP rules?

I have never known a club come in for so much abuse and it is all to discredit our achievements. I don't recollect even Chelsea getting this much stick. On the Pep front they obviously fear him and want to drive him out, I hope we take everyone to the cleaners in court and Pep stays another ten years.
 


I reckon the relationship between the media fans and club has changed this week.

I reckon we'll see more scenes like this, and I reckon the club will start taking action against the more vitriolic journos.

Let’s assume, just for the sake of argument, he’s right on the human rights stuff and we shouldn’t be ‘taking their money’. What I want to know is why he’s using football for his rant and not going after British companies in general and the government in particular? I think we know the answer and it’s got nothing to do with human rights and everything to do with City winning and not liking Arabs much!

Imagine a journo asking GPC if he gave backhanders to Howard Webb and Mike Riley? No I can't either. He'd have been immediately escorted off the premises and banned from the swamp for life. The nicey nicey approach hasn't worked and the anti-City media agenda has got and is getting worse. Time to ban and sue a few of these fuckers to make the rest of the cockroaches toe the line.
