Not that I'm saying it's true or advocating for his signing - but Rashford has a very good record for goals & assists at this stage in his career. There was a decent comparison tweet of his goals & assists when compared to Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, proper Ronaldo, etc and he was better or equal.

In a proper team with Pep coaching him, Rashford would be a proper fucking handful.

Best Centerback under 23 this season in the top 5 leagues. Excellent Athletism, Speed, Agility, Ariel prowess, and goid repertoire of passing skills. Vision and simple passing can improve, so also can his confidence and jitteriness when in possession. His possession numbers are not where they need to be for him to be a guaranteed success, but if they improve slightly he has the potential to be as good a Central defender as De Ligt.

We're not going to sign him anyway, so what's the point of speculation about the price :) I'm talking in principle.

I see some similarities between Martial-Rashford and Sterling-Sane pairs. Martial and Sane look more naturally talented than their counterparts, at least technically. But both don't seem to be fond of the hard work off the ball, both lack defensive discipline, lose the ball carelessly, hence don't fulfill their potential as team players.

Sterling and Rashford, on the other hand, are more humble and ready to work their socks off in every game, at least that's my impression. It's the type of wing forward Pep loves, I think discipline and defensive contribution mean no less to him than pure attacking talent.

He is a talented player and was rated as one of Europe's best young players a few years ago. I like him.
