They don't want to get embarrassed!

Spoke to a West brom fan last month who thought he was pretty poor for them and said he was nowhere close to prem level.
Perhaps one day City will evoke that sort of passion to play for the club, even foregoing more wages elsewhere to do so - not many clubs can say that but Barca certainly is and has been
It's as simple as I have already mentioned, either the player accepts less to play at Barcelona or he will play at United - Barcelona won't enter into that sort of game

I like tosin but bellis Harwood is a class above. Tosin will be a top 15 club CB in prem by 25/26. Harwood could be something special at CB if managed properly. So was Zinchenko when he was playing for PSV 2nd team.
Tosin played 2068 minutes in the league, which means the manager trust him.
But the problem is that he played a lot as RB instead of CB his natural position.
The guy is 196cm , which is not bad for CB.
He is strong at :
Aerial Duels
Dribbling
Tackling
Blocking the ball
Ball interception
yep, that's why they all play for peanuts there. Just like they do at Madrid, United and name whoever you want. In awe for istry.
Yep, I actually claimed they would prefer to play for peanuts - degenerating rational debate into hyperbole

You claimed hat players go there for your club's image, after II claimed that you have to match close United' (or whatever) offer if you want him or anyone else.
The point is if you don't show the money, you can kiss goodbye all the image thing baby.
Even the Manager at Ajax stated that de Ligt was mainly motivated by money. We don't want a player, no matter how talented, causing any disharmony in the "locker" room.

Is Messi on minimum wage? What utter bollocks.Perhaps one day City will evoke that sort of passion to play for the club, even foregoing more wages elsewhere to do so - not many clubs can say that but Barca certainly is and has been

didn't neymars parents get 100m bung or something,i know barca got done for being dodgy ****sEither you failed to grasp the point or intentionally ignore it. Often, players choose Barcelona for aspects that cannot be made up for in terms of wages alone. It's not the first and will certainly not be the last that player A will choose going to Barcelona over another who offers more in wages - that is part of what distinguishes my club.
Alexis is a great example. He took less to come to Barcelona from Udinese but then Pep left and once he went ot the Premiership and saw a chance to improve his situation opted for wages over Pep & chances to win titles.
Neymar turned down a more lucrative offer from RM in leaving Santos to come to Barcelona and then took even bigger wages/benefits to go to QSG. Choices, you're faced with them all the time in life but in football, when you follow the money alone it rarely works out longterm
So Neymar turned down more money from Real Madrid because he'd rather play for Barcelona but then dumped Barca for PSG because he's money oriented? Which is it bud, is he money oriented or not?Either you failed to grasp the point or intentionally ignore it. I'm guessing you got your 'facts' from Fifa19? Sounds about right for you.So was Zinchenko when he was playing for PSV 2nd team.

Yes, hard to understand. Do you think Neymar is money orientated or not? If he is why did he sign for Barca?Hard to understand? He chose the dream over money to join Barca, then chose money over the dream with QSG - how'd those choices work out in comparison so far?
