Khaldoon's End of Season Interview

Melbourne got around 50 seconds mention.

Probably what we deserve and where we rank in the CFG mindset.

I think it’s fair to assume that CFG won’t put up with the level of performance shown by Melbourne indefinitely - so you will get the attention and support you deserve. These guys demand success and whilst they are calm and patient- they do act when change is required. You’ve got a new coach and I guess other changes will follow.

I see the Mirror paper every day and i wondered how they would spin this, not a single word, they have totally ignored it lol, they usually cover it

Brilliant interview - Khaldoon as commanding as I've ever seen him. I've been saying for years that Khaldoon is to football club chairmen what Vinny is to football club captains - just makes you feel unbelievably proud, and lucky, to be represented in such an articulate, intelligent and honest way.

As an aside, did anyone else think that Khaldoon maybe became a little emotional when talking about Vinnie?

I am no body language expert but when he was talking about the woman's team and their 1 league defeat all season and not winning the league, using the Liverpool comparison was he struggling not to burst out laughing or was that wishful thinking on my part?
Nope me too. I laughed out loud for him !

We are now entering our sixth season under CFG and we are some ways in a worse position than prior to takeover.

Now I get that there have been numerous legitimate reasons as to why we are but the facts remain we have a rubbish team and a big percentage of the fan base have stopped going.

This whole CFG project at this point in time doesn't look like it's going to work.

article in the guardian just out now regarding match fixing in La Liga..impeccable timing..Khaldoon must be smiling !

I can see why you might think that and the manager seems an odd choice. However I think CFG not working isn't an option for the owners, so hopefully things will turn around in the not too distant future.

Anything to say Tebas?

Does anyone think Khaldoon had a whiff of this ;-) and decided to attack Tebas and La Liga just before the story broke?

Tebas must be f***ing livid. Firstly the justified personal attack on him by Khaldoon. And now a La Liga club involved in possible match fixing.

Match-fixing scandal hits Spain as LaLiga players arrested and 'organised criminal group' allegedly involved

So the hacker behind the Der Spiegel leaks managed to miss all this despite the huge number of hacked emails from all over Europe? How odd...

He was only looking for certain words during the hack

"Man City" "sheikh" "oil" "sponsors" "ffp"

Just think of the story he could have had, shame that.

The guy who scores the own goal - look at his attempt to tackle Khaldoon when he cuts in from the right in the build up - obviously modelled himself on Phil Jones
Hahaha - remember this when it first came out - first rule of works footy: don't tackle the boss! lol - definitely give him the third (it was going in) - KAM is a legend - love him!

Tebas hits back.

It is in the Daily Fail.

Don’t normally link that Rag and Scouse paper.

So:

That just shows the ignorance and how easy it is to say things without knowing all the details

Then:

I say they are opening up the petrol and gas and finance it like state clubs. It's not the first time I've spoken about it - we had (Roman) Abramovich at Chelsea - they had a lot of losses and he covered it by putting in more money, but he doesn't do it any more.
Right Tebas.... because City are owned by a state and have had massive losses bailed out by our owner?

Real Madrid and Barcelona have never had a situation like that in their history; they have never been financed by the Spanish state.

Sponsorship isn't funding? Barca haven't been Sponsored by Qatar for several years up until recently? Real aren't currently sponsored by a Dubai government own company for almost as long as City have been owned by Sheikh Mansour?

Didn't both Real and Barca get sanctions for some state related income?

So, the Spanish Government has never helped Real Madrid out.

OK, Tebas.

And Barcelona have never been helped out by the Catalan Government.

Not to mention the Banks, the city councils, etc.

Lieing b*****d, Tebas.
