I see them as bottom half next season. Not just blue tinted glasses.
1 OGS has no obvious managerial talent. His early good run was against the weaker brethren; after that they were poor against the bigger boys.
2 They have huge defensive problems. De Gea may be off.
3 Who will score the goals? Unless Rashford and Martial pick up their form, they could suffer a goal drought.
4 Midfield is unknown quantity. Will Pog leave?
5 They have no idea what their best team is, may take a while; expect early dropped points.
6 Hierarchy is a mess. Where is the long promiised DOF?
7 Recruitment is poor and best players will avoid them, till their prospects are better.

Welcome to Yoonited.

Can’t see it, tbh. They’re a poor side, but the financial gulf between the top six and the rest make it virtually impossible for any of the “top” sides to drop that low. It would take one of them to have a disastrous season just to finish seventh, never mind bottom half.

Here’s hoping eh!

Ha, no there have been plenty of others already. Just been deleting those because single word posts like “scum” or “c*nts” doesn’t really add much to the discussion!
Ah, not really though. Some of us may not have been lucky enough to get the level of education you, and others have been gifted with. Some, like moi, may not have access to linguistic skills to correctly convey and express our thoughts. But, EVERYONE knows it can all be summed up in 1/2 words:
Sc...y c..ts!

The prem will give them incredible luck next season if things are not going well , the best buy in the close season will be the VAR team for them .

Didn’t they claim to have 75,000 on the waiting list recently!

Well, here's hoping !

Going to be fun watching them struggle this season. They have so many problem areas to address. i Honestly believe they’re in a fight for top 7 as it stands. Some signings may change that but they have too many holes to fill in one window and the manager is one of them. Still can’t believe they gave him the job.

James could be a decent signing for them - he caused us a few problems at Swansea last season - and I can understand why they might move away from their policy of signing established “stars”. It’s hardly been a roaring success for them of late. They’ve tried everything else, so they might as well have a go at signing young unproven players. But then you read that they’re still offering contract extensions to the likes of Young, Jones, Smalling and now Mata, and it makes you wonder what on earth their strategy for next season actually is.

If they lost De Gea and Pogba then their top six place could be under genuine threat from the likes of Wolves and Everton.

their top 6 place is under threat even if they keep them

Ole is a club hero , and he will get them doing things " the united way " , how could you have any doubts regarding his credentials ?
