Got the feeling sane playing us with this no enthusiasm ti join Bayern! He aint signing a new improved contract with us he is running his contract down and going to make a fortune when he leaves for nought to any top team he chooses.

You don't leave a successful team like City to join a club that was not able to win one league title in 8 years. The only club in Germany that can buy high profile players is Bayern.

I imagine they’d face pretty fierce competition from the likes of Juve, Madrid, PSG etc if Sane ran down his contract. He’d be able to command huge wages. Not that City would let that happen though.

We can’t. I just meant that we’d sell him rather than risk losing him for nothing.
If he doesn’t sign a new contract this summer, would city cash in or keep him and what will be will be? To lose him for not a lot next summer, or even nothing in two years seems unthinkable, but then again so does selling him. If they get Bale they’ll need someone for the other 40 games Bale ‘s injured.Bayern Munich are now sniffing around Gareth Bale. He needs to leave Madrid. That miss v Hungary will haunt me for years.
If they get Bale then Sane won’t be such a need.

So find a player with a better attitude? It’s obvious he’s petulant and didn’t make the Germany World Cup squad for a reason.
Injuries aside, Bale would offer more. He’s a world class footballer.
