I disagree, some of it has been ok, but nobody will be wanting a replay of the China v Spain game that's for sure.

I don't think there's enough good sides to justify 24 teams being involved, and with only 8 going out at this stage, the last 16 will have some poor sides in it. China are through to the knockout stage having scored 1 goal, and tonight they only had 1 shot.

tbh I dont think it is you, but I dont think it's park football. There's some good stuff, not quite at a par with the mens, nowhere near tbh but this generation is the first that are coming through where the girls have been playing football since childhood, getting good coaching, I am looking forward to seeing if the womens game becomes as skilful as the mens. Obviously power and athleticism will always be a mismatch on the whol;e,

At the moment though with womens footy it is the most developed countries that do better, so for the USA to celebrate the way they did was shit

No, Manchester City play that and have for the last 2 years.

Women's football isn't men's football, if you're not interested then fine, but why comment at all ? and when you have a go at it and yet admit you haven't watched any, you should expect to be picked up for it.

I've watched some of it, when I've had time too, and some of the games have been good, but some have been poor, but the difference in standard from best to worst in the competition is a bigger chasm than City to park football, hence my comment about too many teams above.

16 would be enough 4x 4 groups, then straight to a 1/4 final, there are some very good women footballers, but its diluted too thin at national level, and that's down to FIFA.
