Definitely think that Otamendi will leave if we sign another CB.

It makes sense that it happens as well, as long as we have a decent 3rd choice. Fernandinho/Garcia is more than enough cover for the 4th spot - we don't need a £30m option for 15 games a season.

I personally agree with you but I think Pep does not have 1st 2nd choice etc. He expects everyone to be at the same level and play to his standards when called on. If they fail they are replaced.

As for this coming season, well... we’re stuck with him for 1 more year as nobody will take him considering the money he’s earning here.

Yes, I should have added that on too. It shows why Delph is an absolute goner!! And also why Angelino is a no-brainer as he allows us to increase the size of our squad.

Get that but just looking where we might free up non-HG spaces. Bravo is the obvious but also if we sign a CD expect Otamendi will leave so situation may sort itself.

He won’t be the long term solution... Mendy will either catch a break with injuries or we’ll invest come jan/next summer. He’s done well but he isn’t a top grade left back!
