Just seen on Twitter we're signing this guy from a Norwegian club, anyone know anything about him?

Manchester City have secured the signing of Oscar Bobb (15), who plays for Norwegian club Vålerenga, and the 'super-talent' will join as soon as he turns 16. FC Porto previously tried to sign him but FIFA said 'no'. [VG]

Seems like we're poking the bear with uefa a bit...

Interesting. As a Norwegian I know a little bit about him. He was in the spotlight after some ridiculous performances, already when he was 11, playing against 14-year-olds, in Norway Cup, the worlds biggest football tournament for 10-19-year-olds. As you can see from the video he is incredibly gifted and has been training a lot with Porto. He`s said that he`s an Arsenal fan though

Thanks for the insight - skill wise he looks light years ahead of the competition in that clip, and Porto have an uncanny ability for identifying young talent to develop and sell high in the future. Sounds promising, hopefully one for the future
 
As good as he is with his feet it was the passing that struck me as exceptional. Best of luck to him and any kid trying to make a career in he game. It’s a tough road. Hope he makes it out the other end (success or failure) with a healthy mind.
