Rodrigo Hernandez - Atletico confirm deal - p192

They need a player in that pivot role. They very much dislike us, and would like nothing more to send a message to us.
The player hasn't decided yet, it's very much 50-50 at this stage and is willing to hear what both clubs have to offer by the sounds of it.

How do you know that Rodri hasn’t decided yet?

Maybe your angst is much bigger than your ratio mate ;-)

Rodri HAS decided. On Monday. He has informed his club. Wants to join Pep, and City.

Now why should he fall about and join Bayern?
The choice between Spanish Pep and Kovac is quite easy for an intelligent lad like Rodri.
The squad situation is nearly perfect at City for years to come (at least for a young DM) and quite a mess at Bayern. Fans are moaning already.
Spanish giant Txiki or apprentice manager Salihamidzic (huge fail, fully overstreched, he won't last long...)?

Don't compare this one to Jorginho, as long as Simeone doesn't join Chelsea :)
It sounds very good for us.
I only wait for the flight trackers.
Dancing girl gif at hand.
Has Rodri, the player himself phoned you up and told you himself that he's joined City?
I'm just cautious, last week we had "agreed a deal for Felix", last year "Jorginho has said yes to us" and now "Rodri has rejected Bayern for us". Nobody knows what is going on at the moment, as it is purely just speculation. Until he is holding that Man City shirt up with his name and number on the back I won't be saying it's done.

No Wumming about it, I'm just not being as naive as I previously had been when I thought Jorginho was all done and dusted last summer because he wanted to play for "Pep, and only Pep"- as did Alexis Sanchez. As past history has told us, we can't believe anything until it is done. Nobody knows what is going on, or what the player has decided. Not kicker, not Stuart Brennan, not Sam Lee or Pep Guardiola himself. It's up to the player ultimately, and he has not made an official statement regarding his future up until now, with contrasting reports from Reliable Italian journalists stating that he's "willing to speak with both City and Bayern". I hope he comes, I'm just not getting carried away as in previous seasons.

Nobody does. That's the point.
He might have decided in his own mind, but it's not of public knowledge so without any evidence we can't definitely state he's made his mind up.
So at the moment, it's 50-50 with 2 clubs at the front of the queue. It's naive to think Bayern aren't in the race for him. We made the same mistake with United for Alexis Sanchez, and look how that planned out.

Pep has even said he thought the deal for Jorginho was done, and then he later had signed Chelsea. Nobody on this forum knows any more or less than Sam Lee or any journalist making a prediction on Twitter at this moment. Nothing is guaranteed in Football. Get the deal done City.

Not knowing doesn't make it 50/50. It just means you don't know. If I toss a coin and don't tell you it might be 50/50 to you, to me I'll know 100% what it's landed on.

Tiresome WUM
Tiring would be the speculation each and every day without concrete information.
But at the end of it, what if Rodri doesn't end up signing for City, and instead signs for Bayern or anyone else, would you still label me as a WUM, or a sensible human being?

Like I said, it's tiring listening to speculation on De Ligt to PSG, Felix to Atletico, Rodri to Man City without any deal actually being even 50% complete.

Has Rodri himself told you he's signing for City? If he has, I'll state it's not 50-50. Until then, it's 50-50. Like it was with Alexis Sanchez and Jorginho.
Nobody knows, therefore he could end up anywhere at this stage. Don't be so naive.

And has Rodri phoned up these "reliable Italian jourolists" to tell them he's willing to speak to both?

No, and that's the whole point. It's all speculation.
We might come out tomorrow and state that we "have no interest in Rodri" like we did with Bruno Fernandes when speculation came to light we were close to a deal for him. Nobody knows.

How would I know ? Can only go off rumours, they seem to indicate he's decided on us. As nothing can happen yet why worry about it.

Personally I think some of them are the best out there. Agresti and Di Marzio are normally correct on most transfer deals.
The same Di Marzio that said we were about sign Bruno Fernandes? Di Marzio's standards have slipped big time. Agresti is only Juve mouthpiece.

Under the header "Transfer Forum"....it says "All transfer rumours, gossip and speculation".....thats what it's about.

Every journalist gets things wrong. There's not one journalist with a 100% accuracy on transfers. Di Marzio up until recently has been consistent.
Agresti is normally bang on regarding Juve, as he was with Ronaldo.
