FIFA Women's WC France 2019

Bloody VAR getting decisions correct. Why don’t they just let offside goals count when it’s a team we want to score.
As usual you miss the point.

Why does football want to stop goals being scored, since "offside" came into football, that goal has always stood, and the camera's aren't quick enough to be able to tell, a point which you always ignore.

Hard to tell when the offside line is drawn at the defender's foot and not the body part "furthest back"
That’s a great point. If a forward is offside when any part of the body can legally score’...
Then surely the reverse for a defender. If they have a fat arse... onside :-)

Hope you feel the same in a few months time when it will have all but killed the PL. If you imagine for one minute this nonsense wont be used to favour the likes of the Rags and the Scouse you must live on a different planet. You do realise they can stop the video at the exact split second they want to, to get the decision they want yeah ?
Like it's killed the Spanish, German, Italian, and French leagues?

VAR is like all things in life. You love it when it goes in your favour, hate it when it goes against you.

Very small sample size to be asserting that, as the argument is about trend. What will be in the future, not what has been or is now.

The argument could end up being wrong, but there’s not sufficient evidence either way right now, as VAR implementation is in it’s infancy.
The only major impact it'll have is a couple of minor rule changes - mainly to offsides and handballs - down the line.

Your talking bollox again. Research the technology. It's between 90-95% accurate. So around 1 out of 10 are wrong. Explain that and how it's better for the game. Utter bollox and you've deffo go shares in it haha

I really don't care about offside by millimetres just cos we can measure that accurate doesn't mean we have too.

If it looks Level, and that looked Level, the benefits should go to the attacking team. That’s what should happen.

US bloody time wasters

I'd rather celebrate twice for the goal going in and then passing VAR's judgement, than claim I knew a close one was offside when at best I thought there was a chance it could be. Otherwise it's going to take away from the spontaneousness of it all and feel scripted... "now can we celebrate?".

To get a few millimetre desicions correct we have sacrificed the very best thing in footballl....celebrating goals, too big a price to pay & the game is finished...won’t be long till we all just sit in our seat & wait for some faceless video bloke to tell us if it’s goal ..whoopee , oh the excitement , can’t wait .

It’s been mentioned before but England passing is shambolic at times coupled with Keystone Cop style defending.
It’s like watching men v boys.

Bluedan you have to draw the line somewhere for offside but it doesn't have to be millemetres I wear a size 10 boot someone else a size 6 were both in the same position on goal but I am offside cos I have big feet !!!! Bad analogy I know but !!!
