If he can overcome his injuries, he's one of the best attacking fullbacks in Europe which he's shown at Monaco and in glimpses at City, so I highly doubt it.

Pleased for him. Shown a good attitude going away and improving and coming back rather than throwing a wobbly and being bitter. For that reason I’d love for him to do well here but I’m not expecting too much from him straight away unlike some who are miraculously calling curtains on Mendy.

I’d expect his involvement this year to follow in the same path as Zinchenko 2 years ago, very much a squad role and cover unless injury forces a greater level involvement.
