Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

I don’t get why they don’t have an Etihad logo with a City badge on each seat. That way it would be harder to spot empty seats for all those “empty seat” spotters out there!!!

Blow up dolls, activated if nobody sits on a seat. would fool your spotters.

What's with the white seats in the rodri pic?

I've not seen the pic, but there was something (this thread?) about it looks like we're having writing in the seating. Wasn't finished so nobody sure what exactly it spells out.

Hope that helped.

It will spell CITY and apparently we have a Puma in the South Stand

We simply need a bigger stadium. Tried to get tickets for the derby, Liverpool and Norwich as soon as they went on sale, and can't get any for me and my kids unless we're sitting in different post codes.

I don't give a shit if we have a few empty seats for the not so big games. It never bothered us when it happened at Maine Rd...not sure why it should now.

If we can fill a bigger stadium for half the season, surely that justifies it.

Rather see 60,000 plus blues for half the season, with nobody missing out, than 54,000 with lots missing out for the whole season.

From khaldoons interview it’s definitely happening, and @worsleyweb said he thought we might hear something before the start of the season.

Reckon it'll cap at around 63,000? Don't think there's much more that can be done after a third tier on the North Stand. Guess we're waiting for more news around safe standing.

The existing planning permission (North Stand level 3) would take it to around 62,500.

There is also the potential to add extra capacity in CB3 and ES3 (e.g. by increasing the height of blocks 301-303 etc. to the same height as block 305). But whether you could get in enough extra seats to justify the cost is perhaps questionable.

If they're going to replace the East & West stand roofs (a necessity if I remember rightly, losing the cablenet system entirely) then they'll probably fit some more rows at the top.
