Didn't we recently see a report that City are now the most valuable club in the PL (asset wise) ?. Conflicting assessments ?
Doesn't really matter that much as only one team won all 4 domestic trophies last season.

Yes, almost certainly a different basis.
Forbes is pretty much all positive, and e.g. TV future income plays very well for PL sides.
 
Surely the best club in the EPL will overtake their city 'rivals' soon.

We already have in football terms, but if we achieve more dominance we should overtake them financially too.

It was based on the cost of each transfer per individual player we have and the valuation of each player now.
