Food From Your Youth

I used to get these from Mr softie the ice cream fella, can still taste them now!

On the subject of food from your youth my mum used to water down the milk to make it last and if I didn't eat my tea it go tin foiled and put in the oven the next night, warmed up and served again.
I think my record was 3 days.
Always had chop n chips on a Thursday for some reason, the chop with the big piece of kidney in the middle of it.
Prestos own twix and ready salted crisp in clear white wrappers.
Potato ash was always served up, with garlic in.
Banjo chocolate bar.
Ribs and cabbage my auntie used to make if ever we had tea there.
Birds trifle which you had to make up yourself.

Instant Whip

The precursor to the vastly inferior Angel Delight.

And a Scottish granny made an amazing peas pudding.
