As distinct from generalised food ...

Anyone remember Jap Desserts? They were different coloured cubes of indeterminate tasting sugar. My nan and gramps used to get them from a stall on Oldham market.

Also those coconut mushroom things.

Also that weird fake tobacco made from strands of brown sugar.

I could go on and on and on ...
 
Cherry lips
Sherbet pips
Fruit salads and black Jacks
Arrowbars
Spangles
Cola cubes
Moon dust
Not sure what they were called but those liquorice sticks with sherbet inside
Opal fruits

Spanish Gold - came in a wax paper packet almost like a real packet of tobacco - no chance of that sort of thing nowadays :)
