for city to sell sane to munich would be a sin at any cost, but if the player is not happy and wants a move then city should slap a £200 million fee on him and don't back down

why is it i feel other takes the piss when it comes to man city and its add £20million to any transfer fee if city want, and if its a city player moving then its take £20million off the fee others are willing to pay ?? enough is enough manchester city should take no more shit on transfers in or out, and if munich want him that bad then never back down and make them pay

look at other top draw young players moving and the fee's they are getting ?? then sane must be worth every penny of £200million to munich shirt sales media rights with 10 years in the game still to come, if sane stays at city and wins a couple of champions league titles then it would make city over £200 milion and if he was the star player then even more

so munich if you want him and the player wants to move then pay up or shut up
 
I see Sane has been one of the main poster boys of the trip to Asia, i do think there's a huge opportunity with a bit of marketing nous to make him a superstar. Of course he will want to be paid to match that, but we should be selling that to him and showing him a clear marketing plan to allow that. Sane is all about ego, it needs massaging and even though that's not something we do with any of the other players, you do need to sometimes bend a little for the special players and he is one.

To be fair to him, Sane has never ever done anything that I have noticed that would indicate that he is "all about ego"

You can be absolutely assured that the City board and Txiki are well aware of what they are doing.
You seem to be a little impatient and angry, feeling that City is bullied on transfer fees.

Looking at our finances, our squad, our success obviously our way of managing the club is top notch.
Txiki doesn't need to slam an unrealistic prize tag on any player.
We want to convince special players out there to come and stay and join our way.

And you forgot that one: players who don't want to stay are allowed to leave. Any player. Leroy as well.

The word is “otherworldly,” and a contract elsewhere doesn’t have to be the same as the ask here. Different clubs, different structures and possibly even completely different reasons for wanting £X here and accepting €Y there.
