Anything can look like a foul or a dive when slowed down and shown from 30 different angles. In real time in real life I think you get a better sense of whether a player has dived or not.
If that were true then they wouldn’t be bothering with VAR.

That is sound logic (no sarcasm there, for clarity). But the more time passes, the weaker it is.

Early in the summer, reports claimed City gave Bayern permission to speak to Sane.
So i'm sure there Was discussion, and Sane didnt rule a move out.

But clearly, he didnt go for it either, otherwise they'd be bidding incrementally day in day out till we accepted. Instead, they've been publicly claiming how good it would for him to want to go there, and if he did that they would agree a fee with city.

So, it is obvious, he isnt that decided on going there, eventhough he isnt signing a contract that commits him here beyond the two years left. Which is what bayern are looking to do, push him to it, or push our club into pushing him to it.

And that ends with either Sane asking to leave and bayern making an appropriare offer, or bayern making a 'can't refuse' offer that the club accepts, letting sane feel unwanted and accepting the move (which i cant see happening), or, quite simply, the time runs out this window. Which, with just over two weeks left for us to find a replacement should he leave, and no contact reported with any top forwards, is closer than it seems.
The Manchester evening news article today is on point, Sane put up or go.

HE is the one can put a stop to all of this, he is taking the proverbial P1ss out of us, just like Jame Milner did.

Sign the contract or ask to leave

I get the impression , only my opinion , that Pep gets frustrated with Leroy when he is playing, and this may be part of the issue.

Perhaps Leroy believes that he doesn't deserve or need the criticism/advice etc. ?

None of us really know how the two interact and whether there is an issue at the root of the delay/refusal to sign .
Not sure Pep would be broken hearted if he did leave but I may well be wrong.

I think he will stay simply because Bayern will not put up the money City want. I think he will go next season for around £60 mil

So he has to appease fans

I'm not sure what kind of question that is,but I'll give you my twopenneth worth being as you ask,I don't care personally either way,he was a bit part player latter stages of last season, but obviously has the potential to become one of the best in the world, and for that line of thinking,I'd sooner he stays, but if not,so what.

Now let me have a crack at answering the appeasing fan question,as I'm a paying customer I'd like to know what his wishes are, yea,so appeasing the fans would be a good start I'd have thought

They've already alluded to paying whatever it takes to get him over the line. Their issue right now is that Sane hasn't told them he wants to join Bayern. Until that happens, nothing will.

Why though? he has 2 years left! as do the club. Ask to leave, or continue as you are for 2 more years. If someone makes a bid, the club will evaluate it. if they don't, carry on.
