Background to the Rummenigge statement: On July 9th, Kovac declared that Bayern Munich compete ‘against states’ - meaning Manchester City. Since then, Bayern officials have looked to avoid any public provocation, in order to not reduce the Sané opportunities.

Has it occurred to anyone that Bayern Munich are using the same tactics that the rags employed post bacon face? The Bayern fans are not going to be happy after losing Ribery & Robben so Kovac and the Bayern board are trying to placate their fans with the promise of signing Sane, or at least making it look like they're trying their best.

The rags have been doing this every season post the piss can. How many times have we heard they were going to sign Sneijder and Vidal but it never materialised.

Don't sweat it fellow Blues there'll be plenty of noise coming out of Bayern's press but it doesn't mean we'll have to respond to it.

That's the sad part about this, they don't have players we'll want. Thiago and Kimmich are fantastic players but they'll just clog an already crowded position.

I can't think of a single Bayern player I'll take. Maybe Sule. Has his shortcomings but we have an opening at CB.

Other than that, nothing.
 
I wouldn't say those comments mean he's for sure staying, but they certainly can't be bad for us.

Either they feel less confident than they once did, or they've spoken to us and we've said every time you publicly speak about our player the price goes up.
 
@Ric can we not close this until we hear something either way. I keep loging on but all I get is blue on blue. It's a bit sad really I think we all want him to stay but it is his dessisions come what may

Sorry i am responsible for some of that,i think we will be getting bits of news from here on in now he is back home
