Manchester City are in no mood to back down to Bayern Munich, and will only sell if Leroy Sane declares he wants to leave AND Bayern make an 'enormous offer'. That would entail a bid in the region of Manchester City’s valuation of £135-£145 million. [@SunMartinB]

Because we would be left with an unhappy player and would want to let him go rather than keep him around,it's not rocket science, assuming he wants to go

He can't rock the boat, he's got to worry about the Euro's next summer. Plus he spent 9 months on the fence about this move, he's obviously not desperate to leave.

It's not rocket science ;)

Plus Pep showed he knows how to deal with a trouble make in his first season when Yaya was giving it large. And he was earning 4x as much as Leroy.

Anyone else think we might end up with a Coutinho situation?

Demand €150m now, Bayern say no, think they can wait it out. Coman or Gnabry inevitably picks up a big injury, their season is in the balance. PSG and Madrid start thinking about a summer 2020 move.

January comes around and they bite the bullet.

If he wants to go, then sell him. Not too bothered.

Problem is, we probably won't replace him until next summer if he goes now.
The problem with that is we're looking at a FIFA ban next summer and not replacing Sané and Kompany (and with Gundogan and Silva leaving next summer) will leave us in deep doo-doo.
