Or we keep negotiating the price up the more desperate they get ? We don’t need to sell.
We will and the saga continues through August, but now we know that either we'll get what he's worth or even better Sane stays and Bayern go into meltdown.

I think if we get 100m plus for him Pep and Txixi would be have a cheeky little grin between them.Leroy is a great talent that we all know oozes potential but has flaws some non-City PL fans don't see as he's a very MOTD ready player for his ability to do the spectacular.
I'm a huge Sane fan, but we know he can disappear, look disinterested, give the ball away from over-dribbling partially because he is very one footed and seems to matter (more than Bernardo, for example) & doesn't always track back like all other City players. I think Pep wants him to stay now as he's a pet project, and I do as well, but Leroy hasn't improved under his guidance as much as Raz or Kun who we can't forget appeared almost on his way out 2 seasons ago and stayed because he worked hard to improve getting him game time over the at the time preferred, Gabi.
There's A LOT of competition on the wings (Mahrez had a great summer + Raz did well on the left last season and might play there more, and Bernardo is best arguably on the right). This is confounded by the reality that he can only play on the left.
No announced fee = no sale possible. Now with a fee stated, massive as it is, we see that City/Pep are reluctantly willing to sell & for what fee. I really hope he stays, but if he doesn't show growth this season I believe Pep will let him go and City will push for Mbappe or perhaps try to bring back Sancho, who's also HG.

When was he legally obliged to have signed it by?Fantastic player, but obviously taking the piss not signing a new contract yet playing it coy. Just get rid, it's a team game and no matter how good he is he will drag the club down. Thanks for your input but clear off if you don't mind.
If we get offered anything above 70m for Sane we should bite their hands off!
Sane has shown flashes of potential but his record isn't all that great and for me, he hasn't improved enough to give confidence that he will come good, and he's been given enough time now.
Add to the mix his questionable mentality and general attitude i.e. he's the sulky kind... then I really think we should cash in while Bayern are interested.
I don't know him personally to say whether he has an attitude problem or not, but I've seen enough of him to notice he has issues with his mentality. If he had an attitude problem or was any issue in the team he would be nowhere near it. Pep doesn't need to pander to Sane and would have told him to stay away until his move is sorted.
As it has turned out he has played in every pre season game. Looks fit and sharp and certainly not moping about to get his move.
He's been involved in plenty of CITYTV activities and so on.
He doesn't look that fussed about leaving, doesnt mean he will sign a new contract and be here forever but certainly doesn't look like he's gone on strike to move.

In respect of a transfer however, if he was really trying to force this move like apparently is being reported then I don't think Pep would have him anywhere near the team. Pep doesn't care about his transfer fee, thats not his job and I don't think Txiki would be telling him to keep him around so it looks like its happy families.I don't know him personally to say whether he has an attitude problem or not, but I've seen enough of him to notice he has issues with his mentality.
The difference between good players & great players is mentality, & the will to improve themselves & achieve. Both Lowe & Guardiola have shown major concern with Sane in this respect.
Does it? in the mythical world of football transfers I don't think it does. Lukaku is taking the piss out of utd because he can and he want's to go. This is why I don't think Sane is really pushing for this, if we accept the offer from Bayern then thats obviously his mind made up but at the moment he has kept quiet and is cracking on with his prep for the new season. That just keeps his value up. United let lumpkaku do it and now struggling to get the fee they wanted
We had Kev, Mendy, Dinho and Stones out for long enough periods and still won the league (and the treble).
I will never understand this stronghold Sané has over some. He seemingly makes people irrational even though he's not even the best wide player at the club.
Too late for that, all the ground work has been done by the establishment at Bayern.... half baked apologies don’t wash with me, they’re snides who I wouldn’t piss on if on fire. Because of what we are trying to project as a corporation, we neglect some key areas of what it is to be a city fan, 99% of blues want to shout ‘let’s have it then you bratwurst eating shizers’, it’s a Manc thing I guess but I’d be letting these wankers know exactly who we are and reminding them of the crap they have thrown our way for 10 years...
Fuck the autobahn
Fuck David Hasslehoff by default
Fuck Frank Ribery for ripping off the kid from deliverance for his image
And fuck anyone associated to Bayern Munich, especially Ruminegge, the salty prick
What has Sane done to justify a price over that value? Those thinking he is worth £135m-£180m have left the lid of a few too many marker pens methinks
