£60m from Puma says the "ridiculous" tours will continue.
Unfortunately you are probably correct...
Pep was clearly not impressed and will have made his feelings known. It has significantly affected our preparation and consideration will have to be given in the future as to how long for and when they tour. This was a shambles from day 1 with all the delays...

The first people they should be questioning is Wembley as to why Liverpool supporters were allowed in our end blatantly wearing shirts and scarfs when entering the stadium. Given all the security why was this allowed?

My experience of security at Wembley yesterday was the most relaxed ever! I have a bag with multiple 'pockets' that I have taken once before and they opened every pocket last time, this time she didn't even open the main one! Just waved me through. One of the security men even said hya to me then said 'You don't remember me do you, Chelsea match earlier this year.' Thousands of fans and he remembered me, it turned out it was mainly because on the way out I had thanked him, as I always do leaving any game, always thank the security people (yes I know I'm daft but hey, they can get some stick at times) and we had a chat about the game and the fact that he was glad we beat Chelsea as he's an Arsenal fan!! :-) :-)

However my experience of Liverpool fans wasn't quite so friendly! As I said in an earlier thread my granddaughters were over from Canada and on our way back to the station after the match three times they got the verbals from the Liverpool fans, "Look at them c****s in that f*****g shirt", "what a sh**face" and "Yous think your f*****g team are great." Doesn't look much does it but this is at two young girls (14 & 16) walking a little way in front of us as I can't walk very quickly these days. So that scum (sorry but I can't be neutral about them) think it is ok to be aggressive to youngsters and young girls at that. The more I hear about Liverpool fans these days the lower they go down in my estimation!! :-( :-(

The headlines the media ignored:
  • Liverpools FBs were skinned a number of times by Raz and Sane
  • City controlled the game until the substitutions
  • Bravo simple over the top to Sane/sterling worked easily
  • City were missing Laporte, Aguero, Sane, Ferny, Ederson and we still beat nearly LFC's best team
  • TAA elbowed and kicked his wqay through Bernardo and should have seen red
  • Allison was shit overall tbh
  • Salah's own team mates were getting annoyed at his greedyness

Hello all my fellow Blues - back now from my summer sabatical. Great to see us lift the charity shield yesterday and get one over on the scousers (who were only there as losers anyway after we picked up all last seasons domestic titles)

Defo tale of 2 halves but with pep not making many changes in-game he was definitely getting the players accustomed to a full 90mins at normal pace - unlike klopp who rang the changes in the 2nd half to try and get the win

Cant wait for the full season to start now

Weird how they gave abuse to you and your granddaughters but myself and my mates were able to swan through without hearing a peep from them. That of course wouldn’t have anything to do with them turning a blind eye to a group of lads, instead opting for what might be deemed an easier target. Fucking hate Liverpool fans. ****s.

Well Pep actually mentioned something about medicine he had taken whilst with Algeria, so something obviously in it.

i think i have the answer to the question about the drug been used by players ??? and its for malaria i think ? there was a big issue not so long ago in some other sport

I read

it was for a sinus problem

from what i was told by those there. all in the pub with the liverpool fans, no issues. walk down to get the tube. the tube already had liverpool fans on it apparently singing anti city songs. these liverpool fans join in and are blocking doors etc. it wasnt just a random attack that people are making out. not that it makes it any better tho

Is that all it needs to start a punch up now?

Christ.

Brilliant!

Yeah me and Riyad were taking LSD last week.

Nowt to do with the fact he played in the ACON final on 19th July and only came back to City last Friday?

He took unprescribed medication, reportedly for an eye problem, and as the club were uncertain as to the products ingredients.....they didnt want to chance him failing a drugs test.

That was Pep's post match explanation.

I didn't realise how much a dislike Liverpool F.C. some dirty tricks from them today ( again) and the help they get from the officials is ridiculous.
I said to my lad, before the match, that we would win but they would injure one of our players (probably de Bruyne).
Dirty scouse coonts!

Booing the National Anthem was a bit weird.

It's down to scousers thinking they are special, an elite species when like all deluded buffoons they don't realise the rest of the world can't stand them. Even the journalists who fawn over them turn their noses up at the place and people.

I don't usually sing the anthem but for some reason started doing so.....hate the scouse ****s
