At least chemotherapy and radioactive isotopes won't be affected. Wee, I say won't be affected, Norman Lamont assured us, last night, that if they were the disruption would be minimal and it probably wouldn't lasy 'too long'. He has also been reassured of this by the Sec of State for health... The one who said "no deal is not an option for ANY prime minister". How they are changed by naked ambition. As with many members of the Government, there are one group of people who are allowed to change their minds.............

coz they are fucking liars and zealots perhaps?

Yeah, Amber Rudd said much the same. It’s crap obviously, it’s just a coincidence the growth in food poverty and food banks over the last few years has been so marked. Anyway, as soon as we are out of the EU, things will get so much better, we don’t need to worry at all.

we certainly won't - there will be too little food to give to food banks so they will close anyway - Brexit - solving the problem of foodbank use

Telegraph journo throwing some shade :)

‘Just watching weeping people on the news affected by the @British_Airways computer conk out. And wondering how much blitz spirit will greet a #NoDealBrexit’ @foster_telegraph

I am beyond caring those arguments have been done to death these in every thread

It’s summer and when anything new am happy to debate the new position

And I don’t want a no deal Brexit !!
Make sure to vote against the Tories and the Brexit Party in the inevitable GE then.

Gove.

Before the referendum: “No-one is seriously arguing that Britain would be outside that free trade area, that tariff barriers would be erected and that Britain’s manufacturing goods would be at a disadvantage.”

“Outside the EU, we would still benefit from the free trade zone which stretches from Iceland to the Russian border.”

As recently as March this year he said: “We didn’t vote to leave without a deal. That wasn’t the message of the campaign I helped lead.

“During that campaign, we said we should do a deal with the EU and be part of the network of free trade deals that covers all Europe, from Iceland to Turkey.”

Now: “The EU’s leaders have, so far, said they will not change their approach – it’s the unreformed withdrawal agreement, take it or leave it.

“We still hope they will change their minds, but we must operate on the assumption that they will not.”

Total hypocrisy.

For all those still maintaining that Leave meant No Deal, here's a helpful crib sheet from Scotland of all the backtracking.

How the fuck is delegating the planning to the French "taking back control " ? This is beyond mental..................

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-49270872

Who knows. I mean it’s day 7 of the 90 day countdown to Brexit and you have the Canadians politely telling Raab he is talking shite about trade deals. Our customs policy is to hope that the French get there act together and, fingers crossed, it won’t be too bad. Gove has led a delegation to find out where Dover is. Welsh Farmers are doing a remake of ‘Silence of The Lambs’ and cattle are going to get slaughtered by the lorry load. HMRC are alarmed that most small businesses haven’t even registered their basic EORI number even though they would be invalid in a no deal Brexit anyway. And our Govt won’t talk to the EU until they tear up the backstop (requested by us) but won’t offer any alternative ideas in its place which means we won’t get the transition period (also requested by us).

We are a clown car with Noddy and Big Ears at the wheel. No one can take the morons currently in charge seriously except probably Trump and he can't even work out where the latest Trump inspired shooting was.

God knows what dribbling idiocy we will be coming out with on Day 30. Probably a cunning plan that involves towing mainland Britain to a point just off shore the US and requesting political asylum.

Now Bob, show a bit of balance. The Beeb say the government is now more relaxed about no deal planning. I think we can trust them to get it right ‘on the day’. Where’s your British spunk man? We won 2 world wars don’t you know?

You know why 16.2 million people voted the way they did?
Really?
Of course I do, we've been hearing for over 3 years now from representatives of that 16.4 million
all the reasons why the 17.4 million voted to leave, incessantly. They obviously know all our reasons, as they keep
giving us them, there are a myriad of examples of their in depth knowledge on here.
