Loan Watch 2019/20

Now we are still waiting for

Aleix Garcia (back from Girona)
Brandon Barker (back from Preston)
and Luke Bolton (back from Wycombe),

all of them having a contract til 2020. Loan without contract extension doesn't make sense.
Right?

Ah, and Mangala. Whatever :/

We should be looking to loan some of the older EDS players too - the likes of Rosler, Garre and Gonzalez

It says City and AW have some sort of agreement in place to work together, and that this is the first transfer/loan, insinuating more will follow. Does anyone know more about this?
They've been in contact with Fergal Harkin, City's Football Partnership & Pathways Manager, since March and are now another farm team for our loanees in the same vein as NAC.

A little round-up from the first weekend in the Championship:

-Aro Muric was in goal for Nottingham Forest's 1-2 defeat at the hands of WBA. Muric conceded both goals in the first half with the first being a low driven shot from his right and the second coming off a long cross that ended up at the top corner.
-Jack Harrison played 85 minutes and scored the the third of Leeds United's goals in the 72nd minuted of their 3-1 win away to Bristol City.
-Matt Smith was an unused substitute in QPR's win at Stoke City, while Tosin Adarabioyo was not in the squad for Blackburn Rovers opening day defeat to Charlton Athletic.

Elsewhere around Europe, Ante Palaversa played the full 90 in Oostende's 3-1 win over Cercle Brugge, after also playing the full 90 in their opening weekend win away to Vinny's Anderlecht. Philippe Sandler partnered Kompany in defense for Anderlecht's 0-0 draw away to Royal Excel Mouscron Peruwelz. Ko Itakura featured for Groningen's opening weekend win away to Emmen in Holland, picking up a yellow in the first half.

In South Korea, Mix Diskerud was an unused sub for Ulsan Hyundai's 5-0 away win to Jeju United, and Uriel Antuna started at striker for LA Galaxy in their 3-0 away defeat to Atlanta United here in the states.

Luke Bolton joins many other City loanees in the Championship as he heads to newly promoted Luton Town for the season
