West Ham (A) Post Match Thread

Thought Sterling and Kev both very slow to get going today but more than made up for it in second half. Walker had an excellent game and Rodri did enough for his debut. Sergio didn’t look happy Raz got a two goal start over him for the golden boot.

Was there any problem between sterling and aguero 're who took the penalty with sterling on a possible hatrick at the time as he didn't look to happy.

Weak first half, stronger second half. We’re clearly short on match fitness and sharpness, but that is to be expected, especially considering the pre-season we’ve had.

Sterling looks like he’s going to have another great season. Jesus looks nimble on his feet. Walker seems more focused. Laporte as strong as ever. Kevin with moments of brilliance. Some very positive early signs.

The goal that was given looked more offside than the one that wasn't.
I don't actually know if either of the decisions were correct or not.
The penalty was a good spot by VAR, although the keeper would still have saved it had he stayed on the line and rice would still have got to the ball first so that went in our favour.
Thought the last goal could have been pulled back for a foul
He may of still saved it but being a yardback the ball may of gone in a different direction. Such fine margins. Hey scousers.

He wasn’t happy, and fair play to him (would you be on a hat trick?), but he let it go fairly quickly.

Nothing in it.
