You too posh for Wetherspoons then?
£15??? I have had many a full breakfast there and with a latte is around £7.50. The biggest breakfast they do with a Cumberland is £7.20. I will vouch it is one of the best places to have a breakfastGlobe cafe (used to be a pub but very stylishly converted) in Dukinfield, expect to pay around £15 for a full English with orange juice and a coffee, expensive but top class.
I’ve only been once and had an orange juice a couple of coffee’s and a big breakfast, there were four of us and with a tip we put £15 each in. I’ve just looked at the menu, it’s £7.60 for the breakfast and around £2 each for drinks so around £15 would be about right. As always drinks always bump the bill up.£15??? Have you tried the Ivy? Took the wife after a night out she loved it.come in hit with me your recommendations. No greasy spoon cafes I want good high quality food but with a decent amount on the plate. I usually go to San Carlo Cicchetti but fancy a change of scenery.
Well if you have the biggest breakfast, 3 drinks and add tips it will tally up lol. But a decent size english is £4.50 and a coffee around £2 so that's reasonable, especially as it is top notch.I’ve only been once and had an orange juice a couple of coffee’s and a big breakfast, there were four of us and with a tip we put £15 each in. Fair enough, I didn’t get the menu on the day just ordered the big breakfast and drinks, not been back but will go for the £4.50 one if I go again and just have one brew! That's the one. Christ, their barms (not muffins, by the way) resemble 10 pin bowling balls. Delicious as well. Wouldn't like to be counting those calories though!Hansfords?
Love that place. Often have what you described on my way to the match and they are open Sundays.
Is he saying Sexton Blake and all the trimmings for that money?
I rarely eat breakfast out but as I live local its worth a visit now and again. Its the best breakfast around I'd sayFair enough, I didn’t get the menu on the day just ordered the big breakfast and drinks, not been back but will go for the £4.50 one if I go again and just have one brew! The Lunch Box on Cambrian St is a cracking greasy spoon 1/2 a mile from the ground.I'll be bookmarking this thread for three weeks from now. I hope the "no greasy spoon" thing gets ignored though.

The Lazy Toad in Droylsden does a decent brekkie for a bargain £3.50 all in.

Been there a few times. Always decent brekkie. Good choice if don't fancy full English.I’ve always eaten in Cafe Metro which is just off Market Street. Opposite the side entrance of the Arndale.
